A Very Special Clearance at Immingham Port
We were honoured to support the recent relocation of Mlimba, a 1,250kg Eastern Black Rhino, from the UK to her new home at Ree Park Safari, Denmark. As part of the EAZA Ex-situ Programme, this move is a vital step in the conservation of one of the world’s most critically endangered species.
Born at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve in 2018, Mlimba has been a shining ambassador for her species. Now, under expert recommendation, she joins a new group to support breeding efforts, with hopes she’ll one day have calves of her own.
Our team travelled from Heathrow to Immingham to personally oversee and attend the customs clearance process, ensuring full compliance, care, and coordination every step of the way. This operation marks the first black rhino export to mainland Europe since Brexit, and we’re incredibly proud to have played our part.
This wasn’t just a shipment, it was a statement of what logistics can do when purpose meets precision.

It was such a joy helping the lovely get safely back home to beautiful Barbados! 🇧🇧

Roo was an absolute sweetheart and settled right into her custom-built travel crate (after a few cuddles from our team, of course!).

Her mum Jess said:
“The whole process was pretty smooth. Even our flight arrived earlier than expected, and Roo seemed very happy to see us again — not phased at all! The crate was brilliant too — I imagine she felt very safe and comfortable!”

We’re so happy everything went smoothly and wish Roo and her family the best time back home! 🐶🌴💛

Last Tuesday, our general manager Philip Knowles was honoured to attend and co-sponsor the CITES 50th Anniversary event, hosted by the City of London Corporation at the iconic Guildhall. The event brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from HM Border Force and numerous other organizations dedicated to the relentless fight against the illegal trade in wildlife.

We were thrilled to assist this lovely family once again with the relocation of their beloved pets to sunny New Mexico! 🐱✈️ We met them at Solent Airport after their flight from Alderney and brought them safely back to our kennels for a cozy ovrnight stay and their fit-to-fly certificates. The next day, they were on their way — and by the looks of it, they’re loving their new life in the US! Wishing them all the happiness in their new home.
