Evening everyone,

I’ve been keeping a close eye on tomorrow morning’s temperature forecast, and it’s expected to reach nearly 24°C by 9am. Unfortunately, that’s simply too hot for the dogs to walk safely.

I can still offer toilet breaks if needed, so please just let me know. Please know this definitely isn’t a decision I take lightly, it’s entirely for the welfare of the dogs, both during walks and while being transported.

I monitor the weather closely throughout the day as forecasts can change quickly. I’ll keep an eye on Wednesday’s temperatures as well and will update you tomorrow late afternoon/early evening.

Looks like we’re heading into that time of year again!

With the weather already much warmer than expected this morning, walks will be slightly shorter to avoid dogs being out in the heat for too long, both during walks and while travelling in the car.

With even hotter weather forecast for next week, I’ll be keeping a close eye on temperatures each morning. If temperatures begin reaching around 20–22°C by late morning, walks will be moved earlier and shortened where needed. However, if it’s already hitting this temperature early in the morning, walks will need to be cancelled altogether.

This is purely for the safety and wellbeing of your dogs. Heatstroke in dogs can be extremely serious and can sadly be fatal, so their welfare will always come first for me.
