Our little stunner Sandy is still looking for her forever home and we can’t understand why she hasn’t been snapped up yet. Sandy is a beautiful 4 year old red fawn girl who has now been with us for 150 days. Recently she has been fostered by our good friend Patricia, and has become best friends with the resident Belgian Malinois and collie, who she loves playing with. She has also been training with the Mali (and around 10 other dogs, all sizes) and has been good as gold, even working on her recall. In the house she’s calm, relaxed and loves to chill out - typical greyhound behaviour! She has also been left for up to 3 hours with no problems. She’s great with children and really affectionate without being pushy. We would love Sandy to find a her own family, with another dog who can become her best friend and playmate. If you think you could make Sandy’s dreams come true, please get in touch and come in to meet her - you won’t regret it as she would be hopelessly devoted to you! 🎶💖

What a great day! For those of you have been following Seanie’s story, today he was the chosen one and has gone off to enjoy his new home, family and lurcher bestie. Huge thanks to Matt and Angie (and Jess!) for fostering him and giving him that taste of how good life can be, and also the amazing videos getting his face out there. And that’s not forgetting Keith’s work with Seanie while he was in the kennels, taking him on adventures and sleepovers and building that bond with him to make him a more confident dog ready for his new life. Happy Sunday everyone, and especially Seanie and his new family 🧡🐾

How cute is this video of Sandy and her new bestie?! Sandy is a 4 year old girl who has been with us just over 100 days, she is currently being fostered by our good friend Patricia Jones, living with her collie and Belgian malinois. She walks beautifully either with the other dogs or on her own and is happy meeting dogs and people whilst out and about. She has a beautiful kind nature and clearly loves home life. Once walked she settles really well and has been clean in the house. Great in the car just lays down. We think she would benefit from being homed with another dog/dogs and an active lifestyle is a bit of a priority. Pretty much the perfect pooch! Two of our dogs, Seanie and Sandy, have been lucky enough to have been fostered by some great friends of the kennels recently. Seanie has been staying with Matthew and Angie and their greyhound Jess, and coming along leaps and bounds as you can see from the video below. Sandy has been staying with Patricia (photos in comments below) and is loving life playing with her Belgian Malinois and border collie and would love to find a home with her very own doggie best friend. The time spent in foster has been invaluable for both dogs and they are more than ready to find their own permanent homes now, we are so grateful that they have had such lovely enriching breaks from the kennels and a good practice at home life. You may remember our recent write up about our long term resident (456 days) 6 and a half year old Seanie. Good friends and supporters of the kennels Matthew and Angie have recently taken him home for a foster break, and being professional videographer and photographers they have been documenting Seanie’s first few hours/days in a home. It’s heartwarming to see how quickly he has settled considering he’s been in kennels all his life, and the film of him playing and running in his own garden for the first time might make you cry!
