If anyone is looking for dog crates I can 100% recommend jdh cage and kennel systems kent

We needed a system to fit three crates across the back of the van and asked if they could make us a drawer system and use the wider space above the wheels to fit wider crates in for all of our pooches too.

Couldn’t be happier with it, highly recommend and really makes the best use of space and it’s really easy to put in and out of the car.

If you have a field appointment booked where temperatures are over 25 degrees, please look at rescheduling for a more suitable time.

We have flexibility to move appts to earlier or later times or just move to a different day altogether so please contact us to do so.

We are taking everyone’s welfare very seriously in this weather and it just isn’t worth the risk for anyone.

❗️HOT WEATHER NOTICE❗️

Please remember we will ALWAYS reschedule appointments in hot weather like this - just drop us an email or message with your preferred alternate time and day from the website.

I know some people just want to get out and sit in the shade in the field and that’s absolutely fine but please don’t be tempted to play throwing balls and frisbees etc in this weather.

There is a hose in the water cupboard for emergencies but please think ahead and keep your dogs safe.

If in doubt, reschedule 🐾

‼️ HOT WEATHER DAYS ‼️

The weather is REALLY picking up again this week PLEASE CONSIDER RESHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT if your dogs won’t cope.

We will only close in extreme weather events so you can use your judgement to decide what’s best for you and your dogs on these sunny days. Safety first.

PLEASE think now about whether you may want to reschedule your appointment to a cooler time of day - we have early morning and late appointments available throughout the week. (We will always waive our 48 hour rescheduling policy in weather like this so please contact us).

☀️ Keeping Cool at the Field – Top Tips for Hot Days:

💧We have fresh water on site but please bring a bottle of water to cool down your dog if needed. A quick rinse with cool water can make a big difference.

🐾 Book early morning or evening slots to avoid peak heat

🌳 Stick to the shade, where you can, and take regular breaks (there’s not a lot of shade in the field at midday, please bear this in mind).

🧊 Frozen treats can help cool your dog post-play

🚗 Please never leave dogs in cars, even for a minute – it gets dangerously hot fast

🐕 If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for your dog to run around. But you can still enjoy a quiet mooch and a sit down in the shade. Hey, why not bring a picnic and have a relaxing lunch while your dog has some fun too?!
