Hi Folks.

It has been some time since I have posted anything on my site, I have been busy but have been doing several months of cat visits so although I have been into Rowhills Nature Reserve I have only been walking Dora my Goldie and Ruby a clients dog in the park.

I have however taken some pictures over that last couple of months from late Autumn and into December that I thought I would share with you. The seasons have been a bit odd this year and we have gone from wonderful unseasonal warmth to horrendous storms and very wet downpours that make Rowhills a very soggy place (good trainers not a good idea).

The last couple of pictures were taken today on again a very soggy wet day with now most of the leafs gone from the trees and lying on the ground with the wonderful colours of Autumn still in evidence I think however Storm Barra which heads our way tomorrow will get ride of the last of those leafs. There is one picture of Dora thinking "I know there is a treat in your pocket" and picture of two lovely Roe Deer chilling out in the late Autumn sunshine.

I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and New Year hopefully with special time with family and friends you love. Take very special care of all your animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaley.

Take great care of yourselves. Susan.

Hi Folks.

It has been a little while since I have put fingers to keyboard so I thought I would post some recent photos of my walks in Rowhills Nature Reserve. The Bluebells are out in force with a blanket of cover over most of the reserve. The volunteers have done some wonderful work with the coppicing which free up area's to help with the conservation of the reserve and with some new posters on many of the trees highlighting the wide flora and fauna to be found in the local area, including the different butterflies and the Wood Anemone found in the spring.

I have also included a picture of Dora trying to decide if she wants to go for a little paddle or not and some Roe Deer that are out and about which hopefully you can see if you are quiet and know where to look and an Egret who put in an appearance at one of the little ponds and streams found within the reserve.

Well for now keep yourself safe and most of all take very great care of all your special animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaley.

Take care Susan.

Hi Folks.

I hope all is well with everyone in this trial of the centery of a pandemic I expect you are as tired of it as I am, the days merge into one and sometimes I even forget what time it is!!!!!

I have however been out and about with Dora and on our travels I have seen how the seasons have changed from the Winter to the start of Spring and have seen the continuing work that the volunteers within Rowhills Nature Reseve have been doing to improve the environment and the habitat of the animals, insects and birds. It is also nice to see the Roe Deer back again in the reserve as it has been many months since I have seen one.

It is also nice to see that the Fairies have been building some new houses within the trees with thier lovely Red doors the only visable sign of their presence; unless of course you are very very lucky one day to see a fairy itself.

For now please keep yourself and all yours safe and most of all take very special care of all your special animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaley ones.

Take care, Susan.

Hi Folks.

It has been a while since I have put a post on my site but I thought I would put fingers to keyboard.

It has been a truely difficult time for all of us myself included and we have all faced many individual obstacles to overcome on many different levels. In the scheme of things my photo's of Caesar's Camp and Rowhills Nature Reserve are very small on poeples radar but I thought I would post them anyway.

Perhaps the most important one on a personal note is that of my beautiful Dora (not a very good first photo) taking me with her as she charges up one of the hills on Caesar's Camp. To be fair to her, her heel work is on the whole very good now but this was one of the first times she has been up to one of the longer walks in this area and her excitement got the better of her!!!!

Please keep yourself and everyone else safe and most of all take special care of all your animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaley ones.

Take care, Susan.

Hi Folks.

I thought I would put pen to paper or in this case fingers to Laptop.

Over the last couple of days I have been walking the right hand side path within Rowhills Nature Reserve (heading up to the main car park) and I have been so very impressed with the raised paths the reserve volunteers have made (pictures attached) where the old paths were at best poor and over the winter months would become inpassable, what a wonderful job consisdering these incredible people do all this in their own time.

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well in these difficult times and remember to take very special care of all your animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaley.

Take care, Susan.

Hi Folks.

I thought I would share with you some wonderful pictures taken during my daily walks within Rowhills Nature Reserve over the last couple of days. Two of which are particularly rare; a Great Egret which is a bird which prefers open spaces with lakes and the sides of rivers to densely wooded areas like Rowhills so I was very surprised and excited to see it and some of the best pictures of a couple of Roe Deer, the closest I have managed to get yet. Both deer were pretty chilled out on the whole and I stayed with them for quite a while.

According to the weather forecasters they seem to promise very hot weather for August (but we wait and see).

Take care of yourselves at this odd and sometimes very difficult time in our lives, remember we are all in this together and only together will we come out of it.

Please take very special care of all your animals large hairy, small furry and little scaley.

Take care, Susan.

Hi Folks.

Well we are now well into July in this strange Covid 19 year. Socally distancing still very much in place but at least the shops, hair salons and pubs are now open (thank god) hair appointment booked for Thursday!!!

I am still getting out and about with my walks over Rowhills Nature Reserve and so I thought I would share with you some incredible pictures of a young Roe Deer that I ran into the back end of last week. It was a pretty chilled out animal, who I think may have been photographed before as, even as I moved around to get the best shot (mediocre I admit) it seemed almost to be doing a bit of posing.

I am now begining to do some dog walking again with a wonderful Dennis meet and greet mini walk at the weekend so I have places available so if you are interested in 1 to 1 dog walking then just give me a shout and we can go from there.

Please take very special care of all your animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaley.

Take care of yourselves.

Susan.

Hi Folks.

I am sorry I have not posted anything since the start of March which was that last time I walked the wonderful Dennis.

Lockdown has been so very difficult for us all and I, as a non key worker have not been able to provide the dog walking service I would have loved to deliver.

I have however taken some wonderful pictures within Rowhills Nature Reserve over the last couple of weeks as part of my one hour walk that I would like to share with you to show you that the world of nature is still out there and is still going strong from the carpet of Bluebells to the Rhododendron's and the yellow Iris with the waterways.

At this very difficult time take great care of both yourselves, your very special animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaley.

Take care, Susan.

Hi Folks.

I am sorry I have not posted anything in the recent couple of months since December. Unfortunately I lost my beautiful Goldie Bumble in January after a short illness over the Christmas/New year period which was incredibly hard as you will all understand. She was the most wonderful of girls always smiling and wagging her tail until the last couple of weeks.

I am still dog walking and have had some wonderful dog walks including with Dennis in the last couple of weeks.

I have some 1 to 1 spaces available so just give me a shout if you would be interested.

Please take very special care of yourselves and all your animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaley.

Take care Susan.

Hi Folks.

This is a short messaege to wish everyone the most wonderful Christmas and New Year.

The two pictures are of Bumble at Christmas with her Santa hat on and for all the cat lovers a picture of Cylar in one of his favourite places after we have been shopping "the shopping bag".

Have a great time and please take special care of yourselves and all your animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaley.

Take care. Susan.

Hi Folks.

I am sorry I have not been on line for a couple of weeks as I have been very busy with home life and doggy duties.

The pictures are of Dennis on a wonderful late Autumn day over on Ceasars Camp with the Tree and Fern leafs that have been the most increadable reds and golds that only this country at this time of year can produce.

Please take very special care of your animals, large hairy, small furry, and little scaley.

Take care Susan.

Hi Folks.

We have had a couple of smashing weeks of incredible weather from the very hot to a more gentle warmth; however over the last couple of days the weather has become somewhat chilly at night and first thing in the morning (Autumn is coming methinks!!!!)

I have taken some lovely photos including Bumble taking in the sights and sounds of Rowhills Nature Reserve, Manni at one of the little lakes thinking "is this a good time to take a bit of a dip" or "I can find the Ivy but where is the holly" (thinking of his Christmas presents already perhaps). Finally and I am sorry as it is a bit blurry (the phone camera is not quite good enough at a distance) but I managed to get a wonderful shot of a Stag in one of the small open area's within the reserve, a wonderful if somewhat rare sight.

Take really great care of all your animals, large hairy, small furry and little scaly ones.

Take care Susan.
