Wishing all my wonderful clients a Happy and Peaceful New Year.
As many of you know, I have had joint problems for many years, and I'm currently awaiting a full knee replacement. With this in mind, I have taken the very difficult and heart-searching decision to retire with immediate effect. As someone who has loved her job with a passion, I am feeling somewhat bereft, but I know it is the right time. My body just isn't up to the hands-on any more, and so much of the job IS hands on.
Thank you all for being awesome, and thank you for trusting me with your horses. You and your horses have helped me have a wonderful life. Your horses have also contributed to my broken bits, too, but we'll gloss over that bit! 🤣🤣

Had a lovely time with their lovely carer, teaching two Blue Cross rescue ponies, and their larger chum, that sticks aren't to be feared any more - even when they are sticks that ping up and become umbrellas! We went from "eek, it's a stick!!!!" to this in an hour. ❤️

Please note, that, due to being booked in for a full hip replacement next month, I will not be taking on any new clients until next year. I'm really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but I will hopefully come back from it a lot more mobile and able to help you with your horses. 🙂🙂

Greetings, you lovely people, and, I hope, a Happy New Year! Due to the continuing Covid19 restrictions, I'm afraid that I will still be requiring all my clients to wear a face covering during my visit, and advise you to all take any other precautions that you see fit (hand sanitizer etc etc) to help minimise any potential transmission. I, too, will be wearing a face covering, and keeping as far away from you as possible - it's nothing personal, honest! Looking forward to many happy hours with you and your horses in 2021. 🤗

This little horse had got in to the habit of rearing when faced with transport. After only half an hour's groundwork, and about 20 minutes at the trailer, she was walking in happily for a munch of mix. Here she is with her owner, Beth :) PS, it was Beth's choice to not wear hat and gloves, but I insisted on Poppy wearing hers!
