Some pics of our Easter Mantrailing and Scent Detection day held in collaboration with Found It Scent & Trail. All the teams did really well trailing from novel scent articles and managed to track down the Easter Bunny and the evil fox who had killed the Easter Bunny.

We had an amazing full day of mantrailing and scent detection yesterday! Five fantastic teams joined us: Dill, Sid, Walter, Argos/Hers, and Flossie. Caroline Leigh from Dog Walkies with Caroline prepared some brilliant Easter trails, and they joined me for Easter searches as well as real-life searches in the barn and tractor.

The atmosphere was incredible, and the dogs worked so hard—hopefully they were nice and tired for their owners afterward! The location was just perfect for a day like this, and we’re definitely planning more soon.

If you’re interested, let me know in the comments. Even if your dog has never tried mantrailing or scent detection before, don’t worry—we tailor everything to suit the dog in front of us.

Reactive dogs are absolutely welcome—you know I have a soft spot for them. It’s a safe environment with huge grounds so you can relax and enjoy the company of like-minded people.

Would anyone be interested in coming to our Easter Mantrailing and Scent Detection event on Saturday? A couple of spaces have come available to this event which sold out previously in 24 hrs. I am running the Mantrailing which will be lots of fun as your dog will have to find the killer of the Easter Bunny. Karolina from Found It Scent & Trail is running the scentwork and your dog will be able to search barns, stables and tractors. Don't worry if your dog has never tried Mantrailing or Scentwork. We can cater for all levels. There will also be plenty of cake 😀

Had a great time with Millie last weekend on the Mantrailing Mastery 3 days with Trailing K9s. After trying some tracking on Day 1, Day 2 was spent doing some longer urban trails in Oswestry and some splits and Day 3 we did a casting start and a car pick up.

We set off some smoke bombs while Mantrailing last night to see how the wind might affect scent movement

Team Charlie - Charlie is blind and this was his first go at mantrailing. It's lovely that Charlie can be included in this dog sport 😃
