In 2013 Lucy Evans gained a First Class BSc honours degree at Hartpury College near Gloucester. Throughout her degree Lucy has undergone training with BAEDT qualified equine dental technicians in Sussex, the three Counties and in Somerset. In June 2013 Lucy, alongside a BAEDT qualified Equine Dental Technician based in Yorkshire, travelled to do dentistry in the South of France. Lucy's university
research was one of the first to be published in the 2013 conference proceedings of the BAEDT. Lucy regularly attends cpd events of the BAEDT and is working towards her final exam. Horses are very susceptible to catching tetanus even through small cuts and grazes. The disease is caused by the bacterium Clostridium tetani which is commonly found in soil. Due to the small associated risk of catching tetanus, I highly advise your horse and/or donkey is kept up to date with their vaccination, particularly before booking a dental appointment with any practitioner. PRICES
Prices include a dental examination, routine rasp and dental chart.
1 horse = £55
2 horses = £50 per horse
3 or more horses = £45 per horse
If a horse is booked in and a routine rasp for any reason is not carried out, a check-up fee of £20 will be charged instead of the above prices.
