Rocco 🥰 this was his first visit & what a gorgeous soft natured boy he is 🖤 A little unsure of the salon environment but soon relaxed and left with a happy face and wagging tail ☺️ hope to see you again soon Rocco! Rocco was bathed in soothing evening primrose oil shampoo 🧼 🫧

TEMPERATURES ARE SET TO BE HIGH THIS WEEK

Please take extra care keeping your pets cool during the hot weather 🥵

As temperatures climb, pets can overheat VERY quickly - especially older pets, overweight pets, and our brachycephalic (flat-faced) friends such as French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Pugs, Boxers and Persian cats.

☎️ PLEASE CALL US IMMEDIATELY if you are concerned your pet may be suffering from heatstroke.

Signs can include:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Weakness or collapse
• Vomiting
• Bright red gums

‼️ HEATSTROKE CAN BE FATAL ‼️

If you suspect heatstroke:
💧 Move your pet somewhere cool
💧 Pour tepid water (NOT ice cold) over their body, paws, groin and armpits
❌ Do NOT cover them with wet towels
☎️ Call us straight away

🚗 NEVER leave pets in cars - even for a few minutes.

🐶 Please avoid walking dogs during the day. Walk early morning or much later in the evening when temperatures are cooler. Hot pavements can also badly burn paws.
