Since I feel like there's been an influx of poodle/doodle pups lately, did you know these fabulous fluffballs are more than just a pretty face?

1️⃣ Poodles were originally bred as water retrievers—so they’re natural swimmers!

2️⃣ They come in three sizes: Standard, Miniature, and Toy 🐾

3️⃣ Poodles are one of the smartest dog breeds out there 🧠💡

4️⃣ That iconic haircut? It actually helped protect them while swimming!

5️⃣ Their low-shedding coats make them a great option for allergy-sensitive homes 🌿

One year (& one month 😂) ago, Dog Grooming By Leoni was just a dream—and today it’s a full year of fluffy makeovers, muddy paws, and the best clients (human and furry!).

🐾✂️ Meet Charlie Boy! ✂️🐾

Oh my goodness… can we take a moment for how adorable Charlie looks? 😍 (And nope – no filter needed for this handsome lad!)

Charlie started coming to me when he was just a tiny pup. By booking him in early, his mum gave him the best start — and it shows! Now, every time he runs trough the door, his tail is wagging, he’s excited to see me, and he loves his grooming sessions.

✨ Why it’s so important to book your puppy in early:

🐶 Socialisation – meeting new people and other dogs in a safe environment

🎶 Getting used to the sounds & smells – clippers, dryers, the whole groom room experience

💆 Handling confidence – learning that being touched on paws, ears, and face is totally okay

🐕 Stress-free future grooms – they grow up knowing it’s a fun, happy place

❤️ Bond building – just like Charlie, your pup will look forward to their visits!
