Cat Mamma Becky & Head Cat Nanny Elle-Rose are spending a few nights away to get some much needed rest, all mails and messages will be replied to at some point depending on how many of the all inclusive cocktails we've tested 🤪

Thank you to Mr Kit-Tea Café Chris and Café Manager Lisa for holding the fort - we will let you all know on Friday if we plan to come back 😆😆😆😆

Not my normal post ..but as you know today marks the first full year of The most loved Café in Falkirk highstreet ..I've been reflecting as I celebrate the end of my very first year in business, I want to take a moment to say the biggest thank you from the bottom of my heart to a few special people.

To all my volunteers at The Kit-Tea Café ....each week you all selflessly love my babies just like they are your own, you listen to my silly ideas and do the daily selflessly and just helping with all the important jobs I don't have time to do.... and for just showing up for me and the cats week after week its meant more than I can ever put into words thank you. Every wee message from you all and every kind gesture to nip in and help, and every bit of belief you have in me has helped lay the foundation for this dream- thank you 😊

Chris Donnelly ... Your support didn’t just help me build a business.. it's helped me grow into the person I needed to be in order to believe that I could do it. I’m incredibly grateful to always have you in my corner, and I truly wouldn’t or couldn't of done it without you.

To my children Elle-Rose Fotheringham Samantha Fotheringham Dylan Fotheringham ...and my beautiful sisters Waterfall Leah Louise Phillips ... From Helping me paint and clean to ... teaching me how to do the jobs like "social media" I'm sure I've been hard work this year and it has been a struggle hearing me bleating on all the time about cats cats cats , but all all the checking in on me and messages of daily support has been invaluable- im incredibly lucky and thankful for each of you💜🩵💙

Lastsly to my sidekicks Lisa Millar and Lisa Rutherford - the dedication, devotion and commitment that you've shown me and my fur babies this last year is just incredible 😲 I will genuinely never ever EVER be able to repay you both ... you've helped with paying bills, night feeds, deep cleaning and weekly shifts in the café so I can rest and the list goes on and on ...I've never met truly genuinely people like you both before and you supported me in every way possible and I'll be eternally grateful 🙏 you've reminded and restored my faith in two way friendships and relationships ❤️

Here’s to more cats ..just kidding !, more Kit-Tea milestones, and more celebrations together.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all our customers for being a huge part of the reason the The Kit-Tea Cafe has been such a success.

Today is our monthly grief café at The Kit-Tea Café 4.30pm - 6pm
No appointments needed, everyone welcome. We have the lovely Carrie-Ann joining us this evening, Carrie- Ann is a qualified counsellor with experience in loss and bereavement..we look forward to welcoming her into our safe space.

We have a little announcement....

Baby number 15 joining our Kit-Tea family is wee Jess ❤️

Jess is currently in quarantine and will undergo some health screening with our vet team Vets Scotland .
Wee Jess will be able to see all the other cats while she is in quarantine so we can introduce her slowly plus...our dedicated team of Cat Nannies will take it in turns to keep her company all day too.

Free sessions available at The Kit-Tea Café During The Easter Holidays.

We want our cat café to be accessible to all ...regardless of income and circumstances.

So if you'd like to apply for one of our free sessions or even nominate someone who you think would like to visit but needs a helping paw drop us a private message- this is open to all. Singletons, friends and Families with children from birth upwards.

Rachael Our Senior Volunteer Nanny is running the incredible Edinburgh Half Marathon 😳😳😳and she is ever so generously donating her sponsorship money to The Kit-Tea Café and it's upkeep.

We are so proud of her for taking on this challenge and very thankful she is our cat nanny ❤️
