I’m so sad to share that lovely Ricco has passed away. He wasn’t just a doggy who came in for a groom, he had my heart. He was an older boy, I always used a little hip support to keep him comfy, and he adored his facial massages. Drying time was his cue to have a wee lie down and just chill, because standing was too much for him.

I feel so lucky to have been part of his life and to have helped him feel good and relaxed. My heart is with his family just now. Ricco will always have a special place in mine. 🌈🐾

Today’s VIPooch Moment 🐾🛁
I had the absolute pleasure of grooming this sweet old soul today. With his gentle eyes and wobbly little legs, he reminded me just how important patience and care are in this job.

Because of his age and balance issues, we used a hip support to keep him comfy and safe throughout the groom. We also took plenty of breaks to let him rest, stretch, and get lots of cuddles in between. 🐶💛

Grooming older dogs takes a bit more time and a lot more love — but it’s always worth it. He may be a golden oldie, but he left feeling fresh, relaxed, and a little lighter on his paws. ❤️🐾🐶

This handsome fella came in today for his much needed pamper 😅 he’s been coming to me since I started my dog grooming journey and seeing him getting old is such a weird experience, due to his age i adapted his grooming session to him, so more breaks and treats 😅 majority of the session was laying down where he is was most comfortable. ❤️🐶🐾
