Milo, Domestic Short Hair has been missing since 22 July 2026. Identibase runs a UK wide lost pet service for its microchipped pets.

Rachel has been practicing her dance routine all afternoon but foster mum messed up with the camera work. Hopefully you will enjoy her efforts anyway.

Little Ally kitten is off to his new home this weekend which we are so happy about.... but we will miss the little fella.🥹

He’s been such a breeze of a kitten to look after once we got over our initial concerns about his weight and condition. These are his photos from the day he came to us at 350g and today at 930g.

Not all kittens are easy to look after when they are tiny. It's why no reputable rescue will rehome a kitten before they are 8 weeks old. Normally older, as first vaccinations can happen at 9 weeks.

Although adoption fees that rescues charge may feel high, they aren’t at all compared to the cost of treatments and care that the kitten will have had before you take it on.

Yes, you can buy kittens on the Internet for less that £100 but its not guaranteed that they will be wormed, flea treated and vet checked.

These boys so love each others company and we really hope we can find a home for them together. They are so full of energy, so much so that this is the first time of getting a clip of them together not running about. 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

This little collection of black and white joy, are the ‘Friends’ kittens, who are now ready to be rehomed.

We have....
💙Ross (white bridge of nose and black nose and the biggest eyes) who is the cuddliest kitten and always wants fuss. He’s a gentle giant
💙Chandler (slight white blaze of nose) who isn’t very photogenic. He is the most handsome kitten but we’ve never managed to get a good picture of him. He’s smaller than Ross but it definitely feels like he’s the leader.
💙Joey (White bridge of nose and pink nose) who is the cute little boy with the loudest snore!
🩷Rachel (in the video) will not keep still for a photo which is why we’ve given you a video clip.

They have basically been hand-reared as they came to us at 3 weeks old after their mum went missing. They are now 12 weeks old. We would love for them to be rehomed in pairs if they can be, but understand that this isn’t always possible.

👩🏼‍⚕️All have been vet checked, wormed and flea treated and are having their first vaccination later this week.

We will fund the second vaccination, microchipping and their neutering when they are old enough.

🙏We ask for adoption fee of £100 per kitten which helps to partly cover the costs incurred by the charity.

For those of you who loved (and are old enough to remember) the children's TV series Playschool, here's today's 'through the square window.. .'

This is a microchip needle. They are surprisingly large, especially for a kitten, which is why we get them inserted at the same time as neutering.

Not only is it important to get your cat microchipped, its crucial that you ensure the database company has the chip registered to you with your current contact details. Vets will always check a cat's chip can still be found, but without the databases holding the correct details, the process is pointless.

Hmm, we were really wanting to use the chair, but it seemed rude to move all four of them.

These four are getting better every day, so hopefully, we can look at getting them homes sorted in the next week or two.

Look at these shiny 🌟 new traps that we've been able to buy with the generous donations 💰💰we received from our recent fundraising.

It is so good to know that we have a better chance of being able to help people when they phone and ask if we have a trap.

This poor little soul is Rachel. She's one of the Friends kittens we took in a 3-4 weeks old, and we are having one hell of a journey with her and her brothers, although she seems to be having the hardest time. The look on her face today seems to sum up her struggle. Her weight is on the lowish side but not dangerously low.

Apart from the first 24 hours when we didn't get any poos due to their bellies being full of worms 🤮 we've had nothing but runny poos since.

We're having weekly vet visits and still haven't got to the cause of the problem. We've lost track of how much they've all cost us, but we will get there.

They are now approaching 11 weeks old, so they are turning into little adults, but we hope that once they are fit and well , there will still be a home out their for them. Being hand reared, they are super friendly and trusting.

More kittens!!! Doreen took in another 6 yesterday after a wonderful man contacted us desperate to help them and their mum that he had been looking out for until he could find a rescue to take them. Mum just needs trapping again so we can sort out her neutering. Just that bit of socialising by him leaving out food (and water) has made these lovely kittens. A bit wary but clearly these two feel safe.
