I have been grooming for nearly 11 years and sadly I still don’t think dog groomers are valued nearly enough. We do a complete makeover from head to paws, bums, nails, ears etc and wanted to share this video to show how hard it is and how they all are different, have issues or just not been taken enough to the groomers on a regular basis. We are very rarely tipped, which I never understand as when we go to the hairdressers or beauty salon, we always tip. Dog grooming isn’t what people think. They think it’s playing around with dogs all day. This is the reality, it is a hard job and takes it toll on your body. On a positive note, for me, it is the best job in the world and very rewarding, just wish I had done it years ago. We all love our dogs and so do your dog groomers ❤️🐶
