I’m going to ask that going forward any rugs you bring in need to be cleaned prior to repair 👩🔧
I don’t mind if you wash them at home, use another company, jet wash them, as long as they are clean.
I’m going through needles 🪡 like nobody’s business and my machine HATES mud and grit (and I also end up in dirt 😐) then I have to strip it and clean it, re oil it etc etc
Some people are bringing them in straight off the horse wet and muddy, some people have left them for over in a year and now they have friends 🕷️ that have taken up residence and some people just haven’t even brushed off the area they want me to work on 😫
Sorry to have a little “moan” post, most customers are great and normally say “if you need to wash it then do” but there’s a small percentage that thinks it’s acceptable to bring in rugs in a unhygienic state and expect me to work my magic on it (example below) 🙂
