Lee Dellar is still out there giving everything he’s got to complete his amazing 12x 100ks challenge. He has been doing the equivalent of 2.3 marathons every month for the last year. He is raising money for Little Valley and needs everyone to get behind him and donate to keep him motivated. He will be running through till Sunday to complete his challenge before Christmas. This weekend, absolute legend Lee Dellar is taking on his toughest challenge yet in support of RSPCA Little Valley 💙

On Saturday at 12 noon, Lee will begin his final challenge of an incredible year long mission, completing 100km number 12 of 12. This time, it is no small ask.

Lee will be running and hiking up and down Jacob’s Ladder in Sidmouth, tackling 42 repetitions and around 6,000 metres of elevation. By his own admission, this will be the hardest challenge of the lot.

He will be based near Jacob’s Ladder with a gazebo set up as an aid station, with friends and supporters joining him throughout the day and night. If you are local, please do pop along, say hello, cheer him on, and show your support.

Does anybody recognise these cats?

We have been made aware of some cats around a property in Woolfardisworthy that we believe may be stray. There is a tabby cat, a ginger cat and a black cat with a white speck on their tail. We are unsure of their genders as they aren't approachable.

Meet Arabella, a beautiful 7-month-old girl who is now ready to find her forever home.

When Arabella first arrived at the shelter, she was very timid and preferred to hide away. With time, patience, and gentle care, she has grown in confidence and is becoming braver every day. She has started to enjoy gentle fuss from her favourite humans and is showing her sweet personality more and more.

Arabella is an active girl and loves playing with her toys, especially chasing a feather rod toy around her pen. Due to medical reasons, she will need to be the only cat in the household, but she may be able to live with a calm, quiet, cat-friendly dog. She could also live with a family that has children of secondary school age, subject to a successful meet at the shelter.

This handsome little bean is Albert, and he is 1 year old.

Albert is currently finding his surroundings quite overwhelming and is spending his time tucked away, as he’s not ready for human interaction just yet. While we’re still getting to know his true personality, we do know that in his previous home Albert was playful and affectionate.

Albert is looking for a quiet, calm, adult-only home with no other pets. With time, patience, and understanding, we’re confident that Albert will begin to feel safe, come out of his shell, and enjoy the love and comfort of his new family. 💛
