Raw Paws Boutique is a fantastic shop
that sells fresh dog and cat food and natural treats
Our own pups have been totally spoilt

So this here is The Canine Tooth Fairy-aka Mandy who loves dogs as much as us and the great thing is she runs a service where she comes to your home and professionally cleans your pups teeth ultrasonically
Dogs are happier as in their own surroundings with us hoomans with them

What an amazing Saturday morning we had 😍
Our Labrador day was in full swing this morning with our besties Karen's Walking Karen Barry
All the pups were so well behaved and of course had to be rewarded with cocktail sausages 🐶😍
Of course all dogs were safe as this was at 9 am and each pup had their own bottle of frozen water in their bed for the way home and supplied with fans and cooling mats
How lucky are we to have this as our job 😍🐶🤩

Today our gorgeous Dolly crossed Rainbow 🌈 Bridge
She was our super sassy crazy stick loving girl and always bought that extra spice to patrol
Dolly chose what humans she loved and I am so grateful she chose me to be in her life
I have walked Dolls for 9 years and today at the amazing age of 11 years her little body couldn’t take anymore
She sadly had a bladder tumour and abdominal mass and also was suffering from a neurological problem similar to dementia
Our hearts go out to her amazing hooman Lisa who really was the best mum that Dolly could have asked for
They were the best girly double act
So let’s all light a candle tonight for our amazing patroller Dolly
Run free my gorgeous sassy darlin girl
And go find my Albert who u loved

🥰AUNTIE RACH UPDATE🥰
Firstly Happy New Year Patrollers
So as it’s the start of a new year I thought I would do a patrol update for you all
So this Friday 3rd will be my last radiotherapy treatment 🎉which is amazing -I managed to complete all 15 doses
I still have a back problem and at the beginning of December a CT scan and MRI was performed and they found osteoporosis in my bones caused by the chemotherapy-thanks 🤦‍♀️😂 and this unfortunately left me with 5 hairline fractures in my back
So I’m now wearing a back brace and on co codamol and this is a 6-8 week recovery-trouble is we don’t know when I got them but I have a repeat visit at the fracture clinic at the end of January for repeat x rays to make sure it’s healing well and I don’t need bone cement 🤞🤞
I’m hopeful this won’t need to be done
With all this in mind I have to be pretty careful when returning to patrol
Now I’m hoping to do this once I’ve seen the doctors at the end of this month
But here’s the sad part I will only be able to return to patrol on a part time basis -I know this means letting some of you down but I have to be so careful -I’m still not at full strength post chemo and cannot damage my back anymore as that would mean a op and we deffo do not want that
I’m hoping to do half days but a whole day on a Wednesday so that would mean I could still have the field in the afternoon for some zoomie sessions 🎉🐶
I will deffo keep u all updated once I have seen the team in a few weeks and here’s to some patrolling real soon 🥰🐶

🐶AUNTIE RACH UPDATE🐶
Hi Guys
So I just wanted to update you all as
I’ve had a few appts this week at The Marsden as to what the rest of my treatment plan is going to be
So I will need 15 doses/sessions of Radiotherapy-this has to be done every day -so 3 weeks of treatment in total
They are hoping to start this on 11th December as I’m still healing from my op and radiotherapy can burn surgical scars
But the good news is once this is completed and all goes well I will be what they call a
“IN REMISSION PATIENT”🥳
This is such good news as it means although I will still be under the care of the Marsden for at least the next 5 years i won’t have to be back and forth with appts etc and can start to get back to you adorable pooches 🐶❤️
So let’s start 2025 on a positive and get back out patrolling 🎉🐶
As eager as I am to do this I’m under doctors orders 🤦‍♀️🥱🥱 (boring)to start back part time -this body has had a bit of a battering this last 8 months and it’s getting stronger every day but we just gotta start back gradually
So I will keep u all updated once my radiotherapy has finished and we have a patrol plan in action 🤩🐶🤩🐶
There’s deffo light at the end of this tunnel now patrollers 🥰

🥳❤️I ONLY BLOODY DID IT ❤️🥳
On March 7th I was told I had Grade 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer that had already spread to 1 lymph node
No one could have prepared me for what was ahead but I made a promise to my kids I was going nowhere……..
This afternoon 5 days after my op I received a call from my surgeon at The Marsden-(2 weeks earlier than planned) to let me know…….
They got all the cancer out 😊😊😊
Yep my b**b is officially cancer free and also my lymph nodes
I think it’s still sinking in tbh and yes I will still have check ups and may need a bit of radiotherapy but we bloody got rid of Trump 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
What a journey ❤️
What a family❤️
What a team❤️
To EVERYONE who has been my backbone through this I love you all and cannot thank you enough
