Boris came to visit us for a dental procedure recently - on his 18th Birthday! 🎈
We had been monitoring a tooth for a little while, and decided it was time to go ahead and remove it as it was causing some issues for Boris.
He was an absolute superstar and recovered brilliantly - eating 2 plates of birthday wet food soon after the procedure 😻

As we approach the festive season, many of us eagerly anticipate the vibrant colours and lively celebrations, but for our pets, it can be a stressful and anxiety-provoking time. By planning ahead and taking proactive measures, pet owners can significantly reduce their pet's discomfort. If your pet experiences fear, anxiety, or stress, please give us a call ; there are lots of things we can do to help!

When a cat is hospitalised, we use the emotional health flow chart curated by International Cat Care.

It helps our team assess how each cat is coping emotionally during their stay, as we believe it is so important that your pet feels as comfortable and secure as possible while they are with us. 😻

🎉 Cotswold Cat Clinic is ONE! 🎉

Today marks one year since we opened our doors! 🥂🐾

We’ve loved meeting so many new and familiar furry faces and their wonderful humans. ❤️

A huge thank you to our fantastic RVN, Amelia, for this amazing celebration cake! 🎂🥳

A special shout-out to Catherine, our owner and vet, for her hard work, passion and dedication over the past year — and throughout 30+ years of caring for local pets. 🐱❤️

And of course, Andy, who built the practice with his own hands and now leads our admin and finance, as well as working as a fantastic part-time vet! 🔨

Thank you to all the team members who have contributed to Cotswold Cat Clinic over the past 12 months, and to every client and puss cat who has supported us. Your trust means the world to us. 🐾❤️

Here’s to many more years! 🥂
Happy 1st Birthday, Cotswold Cat Clinic! 🎉🐱

Blood machines 💉

Having in house blood machines means we can run important tests right here in the clinic, giving us fast results. We can run a variety of blood profiles tailored to each patient's individual needs. From pre-anaesthetic panels and specific monitoring tests, to emergency profiles for unwell patients, our in-house lab helps us diagnose and treat your cat as efficiently as possible.
