After a successful first year, we are now opening Our Conservation Academy up to new members once again 👥

🫵 We believe that anyone can be a Conservationist, which is why we offer this free monthly club for 13–16-year-olds, where they get the chance to carry out hands-on conservation work and learn from our experienced team 🐾🌍

Happy Halloween From All Things Wild!

Start your Halloween off right with a little bit of Creepy Creature Chaos, a Halloween-themed Animal Encounter session.

Then, get ready to unleash your inner monster with mini party games and a monster parade, before heading over to Spooky Science to experiment with potions and create magical colour-changing concoctions. And just when you think things couldn't get any wilder, keep your eyes peeled for a special dinosaur encounter to finish your adventure with a prehistoric surprise! 🦖

Whether you're here for the animals, the science or a little Halloween mischief, there's plenty of family fun to get stuck into. All our activities are included in your standard admission ticket, so there will be no spooky surprises when you get here!

🇲🇬 It's World Lemur Day! 🇲🇬

We are proud to be home to both Ring-tailed and Red-ruffed Lemurs, who are a part of the most endangered mammal family on the planet, with over 95% of Lemur species being threatened with extinction ⚠️

🌳 In the wild they face a variety of threats on the island of Madagascar, and we are proud to support ONG Reniala - Lemur Rescue Center and their work to rescue and rehabilitate Lemurs, while also working on scientific and community centred projects 🤝

🍼 This year we welcomed two baby Ring-tailed Lemurs named Moose and Pebbles, who have already become a favourite among our team 😍

Christmas At The Zoo:
From Saturday 28th November 2026 enjoy a full day of festive fun, with zoo entry, marshmallow toasting, festive music, reindeer food making and Christmas crafts included in your ticket. You can also add an optional visit with Santa to make your day even more magical!

Santa & Soft Play:
Beginning on Friday 4th December 2026 this event is perfect for little ones These special festive evenings combine soft play fun with a magical Christmas atmosphere and the chance to visit Santa in his Grotto.

Our Ring-Tailed Lemurs have been enjoying a little Halloween treat, tucking into a carved pumpkin. It's safe to say they've found a rather tasty way to celebrate spooky season!

Although, we wouldn't recommend sticking your head quite this far inside a pumpkin to get to the good bits! 🎃

There's still time to enjoy Spooky Season at the Zoo, with plenty of Halloween fun for the whole family. Get hands-on with our indoor potion-making sessions, where you can make Froghopper Foam and a Spectrum Spell, before letting the little ones loose in our Indoor Beach and Jungle Mayhem Soft Play.

Then venture outside and keep your eyes peeled for our spooky adventure trail dotted around the zoo, marshmallow toasting, creepy creature encounters and even a roaming dinosaur!

Whether you're here for the creepy creatures, magical potions or just a fun family day out, we'd love to see you this half term.

We are excited to join the EAZA Wetlands for Life Campaign! 🦩

Wetlands all across the UK and the globe are disappearing, and we are working to do our part to change that 🌍

🫵 We have pledged to restore a small wetland area on site that has historically been home to Great Crested Newts & raise awareness for the threats facing Wetlands here at home and abroad 🤝

Are you planning on getting creative with your pumpkin this Halloween? We want to see it.

Whether you’ve carved, painted or drawn your pumpkin, tag All Things Wild in a photo of your creation on Facebook or Instagram for your chance to win a 2027 Season Pass worth £99!

We’ll be looking for the best-designed pumpkin, so get creative and show us what you can come up with.

👻 Visiting us this October Half Term? Join us from Saturday 24th October 2026 to Sunday 1st November 2026 for our creepy creature encounters, Halloween party games, our monster parade, spooky science experiments and colour-changing potion making!
