🐾 Well, we have a fantastic opportunity, as we would like to introduce you to our Conservation Academy

🧒 This is an exciting chance to bring young people into the world of animal conservation, helping them develop skills and make new friends in a fun and encouraging environment 🎉

🌙 Evening Meetings are once a month through the winter, and bi-weekly through the Summer, and the group will get the chance to take part in real-world animal conservation and learn from our experienced Conservation Education Team

🌍 Today we’re celebrating the International Day of Zoo and Aquarium Educators, a global event led by the International Zoo Educators Association (IZE) that recognises the incredible work of those who inspire others to care for and protect wildlife every single day 🐾💚

This week, members of our Conservation Education and Zoo Team have been representing All Things Wild at the BIAZA Conservation Education Conference hosted by Hertfordshire Zoo. It’s been a brilliant opportunity to share ideas, learn from others, and explore new ways to make conservation education even more engaging and impactful 🌿

A big thank you to our dedicated team — and to all zoo and aquarium educators around the world — for the passion and creativity you bring to connecting people with nature and inspiring positive change 🌎✨

🎉 7 years plastic bottles free 🎉

The protection of our planet is crucial to us, and the removal of plastic bottles has been a key part of us doing our part 🌍

All our drinks are sold in cans or cartons, except our water bottles, provided by Re:Water, which are made of 100% recycled aluminium and are reusable a number of times ♻️

Cans are generally better for the planet than plastic bottles because aluminum is infinitely recyclable without losing quality, while plastic can only be recycled a limited number of times before degrading. 🔢

Additionally, recycling aluminum uses far less energy and produces fewer emissions compared to producing new plastic, helping reduce overall waste and pollution. 🗑️
