Starting soon on a Thurday evening. Beginner agility and hoopers. With agility, the dog has to negotiate obstacles while running with the handler, although distance handling will be taught.
Hoopers is a fast growing, inclusive canine sport for dogs and handlers, where handlers work up to working the dog away from you.

We are greatly saddened by the loss of one of our team members, Lis Milsom. She was a valued member of our team. Lis first came to Ace Pet Dog Training to train her own dog Harvey, then offered to become a helper in class, which she did over and above what was expected. She later became part of the training team, particularly helping our puppy owners build their special bond. Lis always gave 110% putting others before herself, even when facing her recent health problems. She fitted us alongside setting up her own business, Marvellous Hound Dog Park. She was not only a team member, but a very special friend who will be missed greatly. Condolences to her family during this difficult time 💜

The next puppy class starts on Thursday 9th March. Puppies must have had their full course of vaccinations before they can attend. We cover important lifeskills for your new puppy.
Our next junior class for older puppies over 6 months starts on Thursday 16th February. In this class we continue the basic skills for your adolescent dog, but also do some fun activities such as trick training, scent work plus more. Applications for both classes are via our website

Christmas is only a few days away, as we're still adjusting to the new normal, routines are likely to change over the festive period 💭

Please be mindful of small children, especially as this time of year is exciting for them. They don't understand your dog's body language/warning signs, which can result in avoidable accidents happening 👶🧒

You can set up a 'no go' room where you can leave your dog to settle away from the hustle and bustle ❌

Do make sure your dog is wearing a collar and tag just in case the door is left open and they escape 🐶

Many dogs enjoy the chance to meet guests and have some extra attention 🐾

If your dog is joining your gathering it is a good idea to reduce his evening meal to make space for any tit-bits that they are likely to receive, if acceptable 🧀🥓

It's easy to forget to put items out of reach but we must remember alot of food, drinks, plants, toys & decorations are dangerous to our pets 🍇🌰🍄🥜🍗🍫🍷🍺☠⚠️👀🐶🌺🎉🎁
