⭐️PUB ride with friends and a bit of horsing about 😂🤣⭐️ watch the videos 🎥

So we had a very rare non competing day yesterday and one of Ellie’s friends came for a stop over and the girls wanted to go off on a hack! What better way to enjoy the lovely sunshine than go for a gentle hack to the pub!! 🍹🍻🍺

We drove down to the pub to meet them there and both Moon and Jax were very grateful for the snack break 😂

Moon really is a true pub ride horse!!

Once the girls got back home they decided to go into the school and try out Moons temperament regarding all things daft!!!
Ba****ck riding ✔️
Round the world ✔️
Side saddle ✔️
Riding backwards ✔️

Ellie loves these types of horses because she can re-live her crazy childhood days 😍

As I’ve said before if it wasn’t for the fact that she’s not overly keen on hacking by herself (she has done with us but we’re confident riders) she’d be more of a novice riders type of horse!
The worst she does is try and turn around at a scary object and needs reassurance that it’s ok!
I think the videos can prove she’s never going to hurt you but I have to be honest and let u know all her little traits…

She’s no speed demon and will happily trot all day long, she enjoys her jumping so a fun ride/hunting home will probably be the best for her!

She honestly is a sweet heart, a big baby really x she just wants to be loved and have some fun!!

These sorts of horses are hard to find!

Moon is a lovely substantial mare with a leg in each corner….

Lovely sensible girl but can take her confidence from the rider….

She finds hacking with others much more her scene - she has hacked alone but can be green at spooky things like a bag 🙄 but a saint with an attic lorry!! Go figure!!!

We are working on her confidence alone and she is getting better and for this reason she wouldn’t be suitable for a novice home…

If you’re looking for a hunter then she’s your girl! She enjoys her jumping and canters safely in open spaces in a snaffle!!

Easy to handle and do but like I said can be a big baby about daft things..

She’s never bucked or reared just tries to turn around or plant if you let her be a wimp! If hacking in company she’ll just pootle alone behind happily!

Very patient at gateways and junctions - doesn’t get impatient - she’d be a fab pub ride horse 😂🍺

Pleasure rides and general fun are more her thing….

Right home sort for this special girl…

Price negotiable due to the fact she needs more work on hacking alone!

She’s here to find a home so open to ideas but no loans!

We will get her out hunting if not sold by end of August….

A glimpse into my background! I’m not as slim as I used to be but still have all the knowledge that these wonderful horses have taught me over the years and all the valuable experience it gave me!

I have worked with horses all my life and been involved with lots of very experienced people along the way!

I have passed down a lot of my knowledge to my kids so hopefully this will explain a bit to people who ask me where my kids get their riding abilities from!

Train hard and anything is achievable!

We’ve been very busy with a few young horses backing and riding them away…

Here’s the lovely Archie..

Just a few snippets - he’s coming along really well, we’ve had to take it at his pace and allow him to process the how experience in his time, I think that’s a very important thing to be able to judge - all horses cope with things at different rates and you must be able to read how they are handling things!

He’s been such a brave boy and had his first solo canter this week which was a big step for him and he really got to grips with it x

Who remembers the lovely Bert 😍

We’ve had the pleasure of having him stay with us whilst his lovely little jockey Darcey is away on holiday xx

Darcey has done a fantastic job of riding and producing Bert to be a super allround PC coblet 😍 she’s literally done everything with him from dressage to hunting!

You don’t get many ponies that are so versatile and we are proud to say we matched him correctly to his currently lovely home - Corrina and Darcey xx

So glad you trusted us corrina to look after Bert - we’ve loved seeing how much he’s come on and getting the chance to fine tune a few things up to help Darcey carry on flying high with him ❤️

Here are a few pictures to show what a scopey little chap Bert is and to show how versatile Ellie is as a rider…… she’s 5’2 and Bert is 12.2 - they look pretty good together don’t u think 🥰

We’ve had some lovely update pictures sent to us of Olaf and his very cute little jockey Elizabeth at their first proper show together - they did absolutely fantastic coming 1st in a very big best turned out class ⭐️❤️
