Bit of a moan I'm afraid!!

The bin is purely for dog poo only, please take your rubbish home especially heavy empty bottles. The past 3 times I have emptied it, I have had to empty the bin by half to even get the bag out, which is not only disgusting for me to have to do but totally unnecessary - this should not be happening.

I do not have to provide a bin for dog poo but I do to encourage people to pick up after their dogs. If it continues to be filled with bottles I will just take it away.

I POLITELY REQUEST THAT ALL APPLICANTS NOTE THE HOURS REQUIRED & THE WAGE PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR THE POSITION.

3 days per week, more than 3 days are not available. For the correct applicant I may well be able to offer a position for 2 days a week rather than 3.

Hours 8.30am until 5pm, this is not negotiable unfortunately.

Days negotiable & flexible, however the successful applicant must be able to work some weekends & some bank holidays.

We are a small professional, family run licenced breeding & show kennel situated in a village location near Evesham, specialising in Alaskan Malamutes & Labradors.

Applicants must be reliable & hardworking with the ability to work within a team & also self motivated & able to work alone.

Duties include -
*General kennel management ie. cleaning, feeding & ensuring our dogs wellbeing *Grooming
*Whelping
*Socialising both puppies & adult dogs *Exercising
*Administering medication & supplements
*Minimum paperwork

All of which must be completed to licence guidelines & our own high standard.

Driving licence preferred but not essential.

Must be confident around large breeds & able to work to a daily routine but also to use own initiative when required.

Minimum wage, paid annual leave & bonus scheme.

With the XL Bully legislation coming into force please remember that Lapema Dog Garden is open to ALL breeds of dog with no bias or judgement.

We are an individual private hire secure facility on private land therefore your best friend, regardless of breed, can free run with no muzzle. It's just you there, no third parties, we are not a public dog park.

All dogs deserve to be able to truffle, run & enrich their lives whether they are nervous, reactive or have strict legislation.

Did you know that dogs can suffer with seasonal affected disorder like us? The lack of sunlight & having shorter daylight hours often mean a change in their exercise routine with their outdoor activity being restricted.

Just 20 minutes of sniffing around is the equivalent of an hour's lead walk. This is one of the reasons we offer 30 minute slots, we understand it's cold & not that enjoyable to be out with your dog for long periods but it's important for the mental well being of your best friend to try & combat any of the winter blues. If you dogs behaviour changes during winter months it might be worth giving this some consideration 🙏

If you are nervous your dog will sense it. It's completely understandable that if your dog has been attacked or is reactive that you will feel at best apprehensive when walking them. Totally understandable but not helpful.

Off lead exercise is great for your dogs enrichment. Both physically & mentally stimulating giving your dog that extra quality of different types of exercise.

We understand that not everyone feels that it's a safe thing to do in public due to many factors but using our secure individual hire facility takes all those worries away.

All dogs can live a full & happy life regardless of personal factors.

Polite notice........

I do try & be as helpful as possible if customers need to change appointments but can we please try to keep it to a minimum & with as much notice as possible. Please bear in mind that these slots have been reserved for you & I've turned others away - rescheduling 3 times last minute really is difficult for me to work around & keep my small business running efficiently.

Also, if you don't use the whole of your session then please book a shorter slot next time, I won't be adding your unused time to future bookings. I offer a good range of time slots for a very good rate & I'd like to keep my new discounted rates for the foreseeable future so please help me to help you 🐾🐶
