Please can everyone who visits us remember to take all human rubbish home. The bin is for dog waste only but again after just a week it is full & overflowing with not just poo bags (which I thank you for cleaning up after your dog) but coffee cups, plastic bottles, sandwich wrappers & cans. As you can appreciate, this fills the bin up far quicker than usual & makes it terribly awkward to remove & change. I was unable to change the bin for just over two weeks due to vertigo & last week this was what I was met with..... I couldn't understand how it had filled so quickly.until I started emptying it , by hand - not a nice job. Please respect the reason the bin is present. Thank you for taking the time to read 🐾

Bit of a moan I'm afraid!!

The bin is purely for dog poo only, please take your rubbish home especially heavy empty bottles. The past 3 times I have emptied it, I have had to empty the bin by half to even get the bag out, which is not only disgusting for me to have to do but totally unnecessary - this should not be happening.

I do not have to provide a bin for dog poo but I do to encourage people to pick up after their dogs. If it continues to be filled with bottles I will just take it away.

I POLITELY REQUEST THAT ALL APPLICANTS NOTE THE HOURS REQUIRED & THE WAGE PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR THE POSITION.

3 days per week, more than 3 days are not available. For the correct applicant I may well be able to offer a position for 2 days a week rather than 3.

Hours 8.30am until 5pm, this is not negotiable unfortunately.

Days negotiable & flexible, however the successful applicant must be able to work some weekends & some bank holidays.

We are a small professional, family run licenced breeding & show kennel situated in a village location near Evesham, specialising in Alaskan Malamutes & Labradors.

Applicants must be reliable & hardworking with the ability to work within a team & also self motivated & able to work alone.

Duties include -
*General kennel management ie. cleaning, feeding & ensuring our dogs wellbeing *Grooming
*Whelping
*Socialising both puppies & adult dogs *Exercising
*Administering medication & supplements
*Minimum paperwork

All of which must be completed to licence guidelines & our own high standard.

Driving licence preferred but not essential.

Must be confident around large breeds & able to work to a daily routine but also to use own initiative when required.

Minimum wage, paid annual leave & bonus scheme.

With the XL Bully legislation coming into force please remember that Lapema Dog Garden is open to ALL breeds of dog with no bias or judgement.

We are an individual private hire secure facility on private land therefore your best friend, regardless of breed, can free run with no muzzle. It's just you there, no third parties, we are not a public dog park.

All dogs deserve to be able to truffle, run & enrich their lives whether they are nervous, reactive or have strict legislation.

We offer slots from 30 minutes to an hour, from £6 to £8.50 & we are open 7 days a week.

Did you know that dogs can suffer with seasonal affected disorder like us? The lack of sunlight & having shorter daylight hours often mean a change in their exercise routine with their outdoor activity being restricted.

Just 20 minutes of sniffing around is the equivalent of an hour's lead walk. This is one of the reasons we offer 30 minute slots, we understand it's cold & not that enjoyable to be out with your dog for long periods but it's important for the mental well being of your best friend to try & combat any of the winter blues. If you dogs behaviour changes during winter months it might be worth giving this some consideration 🙏

We are open 7 days a week all year round including all holiday periods.
