A beautiful start to the week; a good time to reflect on a few weeks of frustration from our runners who have ran respectable races without getting those winners we all hope for, whilst thinking of Michael O’Sullivan’s family at this tragic time. The team have been working extremely hard in bleak conditions & hopefully the horses will benefit from some of the milder days ahead

There is no denying that today was pretty bleak but the team did a fantastic job keeping the show on the road in tough conditions. Light hearted humour goes a long way when every water drinker & tap is frozen and all the horses need riding in -5c conditions

👧🏼💭When it became a dream💭👧🏼
Some very early memories of when the dream of ‘training racehorses’ began, maybe in a slightly different capacity to what Charlie & I do at Station Yard. Not everyone always knows from a young age what they want to do but it was certainly always a dream of mine. I feel very fortunate to have achieved plenty of my childhood dreams but riding in the Grand National never did get ticked off the list!

Magic Sky at 24 years old & Heated Debate enjoying their retirement. Both horses were stars for us after kindly being gifted to us by their previous owners, Magic winning 4 from 9 starts before retiring at 15, & ever humorous Heated Debate winning 3 from 4 before an early retirement due to heat exhaustion

👰🏼🤵🏻A dreamy weekend celebrating Olly & Milla🤵🏻👰🏼
We are so lucky to have such great friends that we can celebrate all weekend with & work alongside & compete against in the winter, something we consider very special about racing. Even learnt a thing or two from these two!
