Every dog is different and this video hopefully helps explain it.

Here at Koda’s we aim to make every dogs visit less stressful knowing that every dog does not always enjoy being groomed but its an essential part of their life, wellbeing and care.

I train constantly and have multiple qualifications in handling dogs as well as being fully qualified with a city and guilds level 3 qualification in grooming plus many more.

I will and have stopped grooms when the dog in front of me is overly stressed and going forward I work with the owner to overcome some hurdles at home that I think will help.

PRICE INCREASE

As of 16th of July there will be a £3 increase on all grooms.

I want to thank you so much for your continued support. It truly means a lot!

This increase enables me to ensure I can continue providing the highest standard of care whilst only using top quality products that benefit your dogs to maintain a healthy coat.

I’ve worked hard to keep my prices consistent, but rising costs means this adjustment is necessary to maintain the level of service you and your dog have been accustomed to and deserve.

The one part I absolutely HATE about my job is the final goodbyes!

I’ve unfortunately had the sad news lately of a lot of my regular dog passing over rainbow bridge 😢
Some I’ve been lucky enough to have groomed for years! Others have passed way before their time.

I build a relationship with all my dogs and when I hear of their passing it absolutely breaks me.

Rest peacefully all you gentle souls and run free over rainbow bridge xx

If you have an appointment whilst we are in this heat wave please take note!

Have your car running for a good few minutes with the AC on prior to your dog getting into it.

DO NOT walk your dog to the appointment. If you have no transport cancel your appointment.

Collect your dog promptly once grooming is complete.

Cancel your appointment if you are worried about the heat. I’m more than understanding in this weather and will try to reschedule ASAP.

Understand your appointment could take longer as we are running driers cooler than normal.

If I have any concerns about your dog overheating I will immediately cancel the groom and rearrange. No matter what stage it is at. Your dog whilst in my care is top priority.

LASTLY even with an AC unit running today and limited dogs we found it extremely uncomfortable. If it becomes unbearable I will cancel the remaining grooms and reschedule for another cooler day.

My accident breaking my hip and taking one week off work has seemed to have disrupted a lot of yearly pre booked appointments!!
With me having to rearrange that week the time in between grooms reduced and unless you asked me to change your schedule appointments they remained the same.
Please check if you’ve missed or have an up and coming appointment and you feel it’s to soon for a groom I can try to move you to another day.
A lot of my very regular dogs have missed their appointment lately.
