🇧🇬 A Street Dog We Couldn’t Walk Away From
Two of our team are currently in Bulgaria, doing what they do a few times a year — providing street care to dogs who have no one else. They fund these trips themselves, purely out of compassion.
Today, in the middle of nowhere, they found a dog lying on the side of the road. Alone. Exhausted. Heavily pregnant. No shelter, no food, and no chance of surviving without help.
When you care about animals the way we do, you simply can’t walk past that.
We want to be clear:
We come to Bulgaria solely to provide street care. We do not make a habit of bringing dogs back to the UK.
But finding her like this meant we had to act. Leaving her there would have been a death sentence — and no one else was going to step in.
She was taken straight to the vets for urgent care, and thankfully we’ve managed to secure her a place in a local rescue shelter. She is finally safe, warm, and being monitored closely.

Her boarding costs are €10 per day, and once her puppies are born, that cost will increase as they all need care, food, and space.
