Welcome Honey to Last Hope Rescue 🥰 Honey came to us before we closed our doors.

Honey will soon be ready for her new home 🏡 so we have opened applications for her to get her out of kennels as she's an older lady.

Honey is 8 years old and she is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross.

Honey can live with children 10+.

We are currently testing her with dogs and will update the post if she can live with other dogs.

She cannot live with cats as we have no way to test her as she is in kennels.

Current location is Essex but we re-home nationwide in mainland England, Wales and Scotland.

This is the reality of rescue. You try every day to help animals and the bad news just keeps on coming.

Despite our recent donation drive our vet bill continues to increase significantly and we are so scared what's going to happen to us when we can't pay this 🥺

Our current bill today is pictured. This has increased due to Nala (a 14-month old puppy who is in lifetime foster 💔) being admitted Sunday. The vet has advised a CT scan is likely to be needed, with referral if no improvement by Friday (the referral estimate alone is a further £7,000). She has already been on IV fluids with paracetamol and antibiotics. Plus had a drain put in and a lump removed.

What are we supposed to do?

If anybody knows of any miracle, please let us know 🙏

You guys and gals are AMAZING 🥰 We've raised £2,000 so far through your kindness and generosity. Thank you all, so much ❤️ We appreciate you all from the bottom of our hearts 💕

£3,700 to go to be able to clear this old bill (without the new bill for Nala).

We've been quiet recently as our doors are currently closed. We simply don't have the funds to help any more animals 😞

The dogs still in our care do not look likely to ever find a home so it's our responsibility to keep covering their costs.

We owe over £5,000 to our vet, with our last payment being only £100 at the end of May. We don't have any funds to clear this.

If anybody would consider supporting us and making a donation, nothing is too little, we would be so grateful 🙏

On top of our existing outstanding vet bill, we now have one of our foster dogs (Nala - Pictured below) in the vets following her being admitted yesterday, with a temperature of 40.1. Nala has to stay at the vets for more tests 🥺

The bill is already at £1,000 😭

Sasha was adopted from Last Hope Rescue 5 years ago. Sadly, this week, Sasha's family had to tragically say goodbye in unexpected circumstances, when a tumour was found on her spleen 😭 There was nothing the vets could do 💔 Sasha was so loved by her family and we are heartbroken for them 😞 Sasha had the best life because she was adopted by her family and we are so grateful to them for everything they did for Sasha. Let's all remember Sasha for the full of life, exuberant dog that she was ❤️ She lived each day with passion and energy and she loved with her whole being 💞 Rest easy beautiful girl - always loved, never forgotten ✨
