**NEW GATES COMING SOON!**

For those that don’t know.
Tilly’s meadow is a heart business.

We spend the money on improvements, facilities and comfort as well as those treats you find inside the shelter.

One thing we have wanted to change for some time is the gates.
We know that the wood expands and shrinks in the weather which means you have to apply technique to open and close them. 🙈
We are looking at getting some 5-6ft metal gates.

It has taken some time to save up for these but we are pleased to say that we will be able to purchase them and have them fitted this year along with some top up stones on the parking pad to keep it level.
We would not be able to do this if it wasn’t for your support, THANK YOU to all of you for supporting Tilly’s meadow. 🙌🤝🙂

MEADOW UPDATE:

We must apologise for the lack of posts. It seems we had a technical issue with the page. We could see posts we posted but didn’t realise you couldn’t.
It has been addressed now.

We have been busy adding more new rubber grass guards.

The sand tyres have been topped up for the diggers. 🐶

The barrels have also been topped up (non digging) 🐾

We have also put some bungees on the gates.

Unfortunately we have lost a few of our regular dog family, their memorial plaques will be added soon. 😢 Our thoughts are with their families. 🥰

For those that have recently joined us - welcome. 😁
Tilly’s meadow is not just a dog meadow, it is a community that helps each other. 🤝🤝

Please help us by following the rules to keep it nice.

We bring sad news. 😢

We have lost one of our meadow family.

Linz and her family have lost beautiful Humbug who was taken too soon.
We will have a plaque made in Humbug’s memory.
Please join us in sending Linz and her family our sincere condolences for their loss.

Fly high and free Humbug. 🌈🐾🐕💔

You may wish to pick a few blackberries whilst our 4 legged companions are busy on the meadow. 🐾

I did the responsible thing and checked them for you all today, armed with a bowl and cream of course. 😋😋😋

We would like to thank everybody for all
your support, kindness and understanding on our last post.
This confirms to us how the meadow unites us all and we are able to provide support for each other.
We understand that many of you have also experienced the sadness and loss of your canine family members.
Please remember, we are happy to have a plaque in memory of the dogs that enjoyed Tilly’s meadow before they left for rainbow bridge 🌈🐾💔

The meadow will be mowed on Friday.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the “pay it forward” system we have on picking up dog poo.
We have a couple of disabled members use the meadow and we have gone in after to clear up their dog poo as they are unable only to find it has already been done. 🤝

You are all wonderful!

Oh and we are hoping to replace the gates soon. 😉😁

We are very sorry for the delay in mowing the meadow.
We had planned it for yesterday but sadly one of our dogs was taken ill and we lost her. 🥺

We will hopefully get it done this week. 🤞

WE ARE DOING ANOTHER ROUND!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

BEGINNING THIS SATURDAY 12th APRIL

***BONE HUNT FOR DOGS***

We have 10 bones and 10 bags of goodies for those that find the bones.

Each bone is numbered. If you find the bone, you take the goody bag with the same number.

They will not all be hidden at once. We will hide a few at a time to give more chances.

If you find more than one, can you please leave for another dog to have a chance. 😀

Please feel free to send photos or videos of your dog finds a bone. 🦴

IMPORTANT: Please put the bones you find in the German Shepherd box so we can use them for future games. Thank you. 🙏

We would love to welcome you as part of our meadow family.
We provide complimentary snacks for both humans and dogs. Bring a flask of hot water and you can help yourself to a tea, cappuccino or latte whilst your dogs have fun.
2+ Acres
We have indoor seating and outdoor picnic bench. Toilet. Shelter, 6ft fencing. Poo bags and bins.
Lots of toys to play with. Play equipment. Water for the dogs.
We also have an exchange box with accessories people no long use that others can take.
