Pooch's Paddock

Pooch's Paddock Welcome to Pooch's Paddock, 2 acres of fenced off grassland in Belton, DN9. A safe, secure, stress free space that you and your dog friends can enjoy!

The field is available for private use for half hour or one hour sessions, 7 days a week. * The field is accessed from King Edward Street, Belton, DN9 1QN.
*From the mini roundabout (near chip shop) go approximately 500m down King Edward St and the road begins to bend to the right.
*Just before the bend there are 2 lane entrances on the left, the first takes you to the paddock (immediately next

to the bungalow with the conifer hedge - this is the entrance you need to go down). The second is Temple Gardens which is not the right one. (Lane entrance on what3words is dated.upsetting.costly).
*Drive up the lane and go past the first field, you will then see a stone entrance on the left where you need to pull in off the lane.
*Please park in a way to ensure you are able to leave the field safely, bearing in mind the next hirer may arrive and park whilst you are still there.
*Please do not block the lane.
*Please bear in mind this stone lane is a single lane. It has a passing point close to the road end and is only approximately 200m in length, therefore you can see clearly if there are any other vehicles to give way for.
*Walkers also use this lane, so please drive slowly and carefully for the enjoyment of all users.
* Sessions available to book are in half hour or one hour slots. Select BOOKING on the website to see options which are;
half an hour - up to 2 dogs = £4, up to 3 dogs = £6, up to 4 dogs = £8, up to 5 dogs = £10. one hour - up to 2 dogs = £8, up to 3 dogs = £11, up to 4 dogs = £14, up to 5 dogs = £17.

Morning Poochspaddockers 🐾 reminder about being time aware when visiting 👍🏻
Please do not arrive any more than 5 minutes before your slot time at the very most. For example; if your slot is booked for 10:30 do not arrive at the car park before 10:25. If your slot is 5:00 do not arrive at the car park before 4:55 at the very earliest. We had a complaint about this yesterday.
When your time slot is coming to an end, you must leave the field by the slot end time. For example; if your slot is 9:30-10:00, you must have gathered up your dogs and belongings and exited the field by 10:00. EVEN IF NOBODY HAS ARRIVED YET FOR THE NEXT SLOT! There is often a good reason the next visitor is not there, like avoiding meeting another dog/human during crossover time, so please do not abuse the system. The last thing someone wants is to find another visitor still in the field on their paid time. I had two complaints about this on Friday.
It’s a simple system and relies on thoughtfulness by all visitors, so please can we all be mindful of everybody else using the facility. Thank you ☺️

Morning … I’ve found quite a few cups in the dog poo bin recently which I then have to remove (🤢) PLEASE REMEMBER; THE BINS ARE FOR BAGGED DOG WASTE ONLY AS PER THE BIG SIGN ON THE FRONT OF THE BIN!
The specialist waste collection is extremely costly and if the wrong waste is in it, additional charges are incurred which I’m sure nobody wants passing on to them and I really don’t enjoy removing incorrect items from the poo bin! If you create waste, take it back home with you!
Please also note the water containers are back in the shelter now as very sadly all the baby birds in the nest have died as the parents abandoned the nest 😔. If any more nest in there we will close the shelter to give them the space they need.
