It's hard to believe it's been nearly 12 years since I started Animal Evalution, and I still genuinely love days like this. Give me a beautiful woodland, a coffee in hand, a lovely dog by my side, and I'm happy. ๐Ÿพโ˜•๐ŸŒณ

I've used a UniWalker ever since they were introduced, and it's become part of my everyday walking kit. I like that it's quick to put on and take off, and having the option of a Head Halti gives me that little bit of extra reassurance if I ever need it. Teddy is an absolute superstar and doesn't need it at all, but I always prefer to have the choice. And I have to say... the purple really suits him! ๐Ÿ’œ

One of my favourite parts of the day is wandering through places like this, listening to my audiobook, saying hello to fellow dog walkers, and enjoying the fact that we're all out appreciating the same beautiful surroundings.

Nearly 12 years on, I still wouldn't swap it for anything.

Take extra care over the next few days by making sure your dog has:
๐Ÿ’ง Constant access to fresh, cool water.
โ„๏ธ A cool place to rest, away from direct sunlight.
๐ŸงŠ Cooling aids such as cooling mats, cooling coats or bandanas (such as the bandana Milo is wearing in this photo, from Dogs & Co.) (if your dog is comfortable using them).
๐Ÿฆ Frozen treats or enrichment to help keep them cool.
๐Ÿ’ค Plenty of opportunities to rest and avoid overheating.

Keep an eye out for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, confusion or collapse.
If you're concerned your dog may be suffering from heatstroke, contact your vet immediately!
