✨ Sometimes the BEST results are the least dramatic ✨
Dutch is now a regular maintenance client and honestly… his before & after photos are wonderfully underwhelming 🩵
Why? 👇
Because his owner absolutely adores him and stays on top of his oral health consistently 🐾
When I first met Dutch: 🦷 He had tartar sitting all along the gum line
🦷 His gums were becoming red and inflamed
🦷 Early gum disease was beginning
Now?

✨ How clean is CLEAN? ✨
When I’m cleaning dogs’ teeth, what am I actually looking for? 👀🦷
Every dog starts from a different place. Some have years of build-up. Some just need maintenance.
But my main focus is always the same:
✅ Clearing build-up away from the gum line
Why?
Because bacteria loves to creep up into — and underneath — the gum line.
Once that happens, it can begin attacking the structures supporting the tooth, causing discomfort, inflammation and dental disease 😔
Dogs can’t tell us when their mouths hurt… So that becomes MY focus during every initial consultation 💕
I also spend as much time as possible allowing the ultrasonic toothbrush, water and toothpaste to work around the mouth.
While that brush is in there, it’s helping reduce bacteria and germs silently and gently 🪥✨
The results are only ever this good when the dog is relaxed and willing — and both Jester and Lenny were absolute superstars 🌟
You’ll also notice I didn’t remove every single stain.
And that was intentional 👌
Sometimes slow, consistent maintenance is kinder and safer than trying to achieve “perfect white teeth” in one session.
This is all about: 🐾 Prevention 🐾 Comfort 🐾 Trust 🐾 Long-term oral health

🐾✨ Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is be honest about what a dog needs. ✨🐾
Yesterday I met a truly lovely owner who absolutely adores her dog. 💗
But sadly, the level of build up inside this little one’s mouth was severe. In cases like this, removing large amounts of hardened build up can sometimes leave teeth unstable, exposed, and potentially painful for the dog.
And no loving owner ever wants their dog to suffer discomfort.
This is why I always believe education and support matter just as much as the clean itself.
As The Canine Tooth Fairy, my role is to help owners make informed, compassionate decisions about their dog’s oral health. 🦷🪥
I work with many elderly dogs, including some with heart conditions, where anaesthetic dentals at the vets may not be possible or may carry significant risks. In those situations, regular maintenance and gentle preventative care can still help reduce build up and support gum health.
But it’s also so important to understand this:
✨ I am NOT a replacement for veterinary care when it is needed.
✨ I provide a preventative maintenance service.
✨ Some dogs absolutely need veterinary intervention.
And honestly? My favourite cleans are often the ones WITHOUT dramatic before & after photos… because that means owners have stayed on top of their dog’s oral health consistently over time. 💕
Prevention is always kinder, easier, safer, and cheaper than waiting until a mouth becomes painful.

Today was all about beautiful girl Matilda 💕
At just 4 years old, Matilda had already developed quite considerable tartar build up during her initial consultation appointment. But thanks to the incredible combination of the new ✨ Emmi Pet Neo ✨ ultrasonic toothbrush and Orozyme gel, I was able to gently flick away the build up with absolutely no stress, force or drama for this lovely girl 🐶💖
And honestly… Matilda was an absolute SUPERSTAR 🌟
She stayed calm, chilled and happy throughout her session, which made all the difference and allowed us to achieve these amazing results safely and comfortably for her.
