March got here faster than we thought possible! Canicross is winter sport so when it gets warmer we camp, hike, hit the beach and enjoy the summer break.

This weekend we have been checking out the camp site, walks and locations for our summer camp and what a beauty.

What a beautiful day to be out on the trails down here in Surrey, blessed with beautiful skies am and pm so everyone out with their dogs running, racing, solo or in groups and clubs had a beautiful day!

Our next Taster Session is on the 18th January 🎉 at 9am

We will be covering kit and all the hows and whats, trail etiquette, group running skills, and how to start teaching cues.

This is suitable to ALL running abilities as well as to those two want to try it out, join a club, or learn the basics to go exploring solo.

Happy Saturday!
Hopefully everyone is long home, showered, and wrapped up warm.

Its not easy when the weather turns but quite often today there is a window if you make the most if it.

Every run is a different adventure and today was no exception! Lots of teams out this morning in different areas, meant we all got to see a different autumnal view today.
To those who joined us this morning 🎉 from beginners practicing those basics, those fine tuning, the ups and downs chasers and those who went the looooong way for a coffee!🔥🎉
For everyone else, racer, rest dayers, adventurers - we hope your Saturday morning was as fun as ours!

Wow what a fabulous weekend we have had here as SC! Lots of runs with our regulars, hills and sprints, exploring the autumnal trails and we had some amazing successes with downhill control and some epic giggles and smiles 🎉🔥

Our work shop was filled with wonder humans and meeting their dogs this morning 🤯. Every single workshop/taster session is different, as is each running team. But we were blown away by the level of understanding each person showed their dogs, very different breeds, sizes, histories and it was incredible to see how quickly each understood and were supporting each other by giving space allowing each human to work at their dogs pace. Thank you for that ❤️

Emailers have been sent out to all those who have contacted us recently regarding Canicross Beginner/Taster Sessions. If you would like to join our workshop weekend check out www.surreycanicross.co.uk for more info!

Our work shops are very friendly and we talk about dogs alot! We hold a two part theory and partical session so we can really have a chance to talk indepth with everyone about Canicross. Lots of chances to ask questions, try on kit, and explore the world of Cani-Sports. The practical is the fun part where you get to put everything you learned into practice and see how you both feel about hitting the trails together.

For all those looking to get fit with their dog, try something different, try a different style of running or are just looking for other people out running with their dogs to join, we hope to see you soon!
