There are days when I have to stop and remind myself just how lucky I am. ❤️🐾

Every wagging tail, every excited face at the salon door, every cuddle, kiss, and happy zoomie reminds me why I chose this job.

I'm so grateful to each and every one of you who trusts me with your precious dogs. It really is a privilege to spend my days caring for them, making them feel their best, and getting to know all of their unique little personalities.

From tiny puppies having their first groom to my wonderful regulars who feel like part of the Barking Beauties family, thank you for keeping my little salon so busy and so full of love.

I truly have the best job in the world, and it's all thanks to you and your amazing doggies. 🩷🐶

Availability for August is limited i only have scattered appointments available, im off the first two weeks in September and the week of the 14th of September is already filling up, if your pup is due a groom around these dates please send me a message and I will either get you in before I go off or when I come back 🐾

A puppy's first groom isn't about getting a fancy haircut, it's about building confidence and positive experiences. A puppy groom introduces them to the sights, sounds, smells, and gentle handling they'll experience during regular grooming appointments. At around 14 weeks, puppies can begin gentle grooming sessions to get them used to being handled, brushed, bathed, dried, and introduced to clippers. Starting young helps prevent fear, keeps their coat healthy, reduces matting, and sets them up for a lifetime of stress free grooming. 😍🐾 it also gives us groomers the chance to educate owners on coat care brushing techniques etc. 🐾🐶

🐶 A little apology from me, it's been a few weeks since I've posted any of the gorgeous dogs I've had in for grooming!

The salon has been keeping me very busy lately, and it seems that Golden Retrievers are definitely the breed of the moment! 💛 I've been lucky enough to groom so many beautiful Goldens recently, and they never fail to brighten my day with their friendly personalities and wagging tails.

As much as we're all enjoying the sunshine, please remember that our dogs can struggle in the heat. ☀️

🐾 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening.
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times.
🌳 Make sure they have somewhere cool and shady to rest.
🚗 Never leave dogs unattended in vehicles.

🐾✨ What a Week of Wagging Tails! ✨🐾

Ive had the absolute pleasure of welcoming so many gorgeous pups through our doors this week, and wow… what a bunch! From bouncy bath-time zoomies to those post-groom struts, every single dog left looking and feeling their best 🐶💖

There’s nothing i love more than seeing those happy faces, fresh trims, and shiny coats. Whether it was a full makeover or just a little tidy-up, each pup brought their own personality, and plenty of cuddles to the salon 🛁✂️

A big thank you to all our wonderful clients for trusting me with your furry family members. Can’t wait to see you all again soon!
