📌 Evening everyone.

I think I have messaged all customers currently on my books, individually. I hope I haven't missed anyone!

I will be closing my little business at the end of the year, as I am moving out of the area.

I will be continuing to groom up on till 23rd December 2025.

I want to thank you all for your continued support and puppy cuddles over the years.

📌 Time to "toot" my own horn!! 📯

I recently entered another grooming competition. There are some really talented groomers working hard to learn, and become the best they can be.

I entered 3 classes and the feedback from the judges was amazing.

The best news is I got placed 1st 🏆 in the 'Over 7 years experience handstrip class'.

A massive thank you to the organisers and all 3 of the dogs I groomed for the competition and their owners, especially Walnut and his family.

I'm super proud of my achievement and looking forward to see what's next.

📌 Giving Zoe Robyn Jewellery a little shout out.

I collected a late birthday gift (a gift from myself 😉), from Zoe today. My very own Jack Russell pendant.

The photos don't do Zoes work justice! For such a tiny pendant there is so much detail. Zoes work is amazing. I am absolutely in ❤️ with with my Percy pendant.

📌 It's that time of year again!!

Keep a look out for those pesky little ticks.

Most prescribed flea and tick treatments aren't repellent and the flea and ticks still have to bite to ingest the treatment to then fall off.

Some take up to 48 hours to fall off! (Have a read of the treatments instructions if you aren't sure how it works).

Ticks can carry some horrible diseases so if you find one it's best to safely remove it with a tick remover. If you aren't confident enough ask your registered veterinary nurse or your helpful dog groomer to show you how it's done 😁

📌 I am back from my little break.

Thank you everyone for your kind birthday messages. I had a lovely break and feeling refreshed and ready to pick up those scissors again!

Last month I entered the 'Spring Fling' pet grooming competition.

There are some really fantastic groomers out there! ❤️

No placements this time but it was a fun experience and the judges feedback was really good. Always really helpful to have some advice and guidance to do better 😊

Everyone that entered got a certificate and rosette for competing. This time a pretty pink one!

I'll be looking for some new dog models for the next competition.

Really enjoyed this one today! I've still got it! 😍

Buddy 💙 was back for his BIG boy groom. Buddy has masses of coat and it is lovely to work on.

His owners have been doing a fantastic job keeping him groomed at home but he was definitely ready for a haircut. Their training with the hairdryer is also working 👍

Sometimes things just don't go to plan... that's life! 😁

Dingers 💙 owner really wanted to keep his shaggy look... but Dinger loves his long walks and ruffing it with his friends. He was also castrated recently and despite my warning of keeping up with grooming if he needed to wear a recovery suit he came in, last week, for a clip off. *owner requested Dingers head be kept floofy!

Hopefully we can grow Dingers hair back to a length his owners can maintain between visits.
