Changes to our Bookings Policy

We've always been flexible with our booking and rescheduling policy but some recent events mean we're formalising things slightly.

The changes:
1) No more than 2 sessions per customer per day. Sessions can be back to back or split across the day. Any more than 2 sessions booked without our written permission will be cancelled with no refund.

2) Any rescheduling of sessions must now be done by 48 hours before booking time. This is an increase from the previous 12 hour limit.

We will obviously be willing to use our discretion in exceptional circumstances, as we always have done.

Our Terms and Conditions are on the website and also part of every booking so please make sure you have read them 😉

💦💦 Woody's Fountain is now OPEN 💦💦

Obviously it's far too cold for him to want to be anywhere near it today, but Buzz has overseen the work and declared it ready for use.

Please only turn on the water when you are in the Fountain and using it. We're on a water meter plus the area is close to drought and water restrictions. Be mindful and turn it on and off as needed.

Woody's Fountain will hopefully be fixed on Friday morning. The spray hoses will be laid this week so don't get too excited when you see them - it's not working yet. Will keep you updated on an opening date as soon as I have one.

This is why Woody's Fountain is closed.

Unfortunately I can't mend it myself so I'm waiting for a suitable gap in bookings and availability of Andy to come and fix it.

There are large tubs, and running water, always available in the car park to cool off dogs and humans.

Hopefully up and running next week; just in time for the cooler weather 😭

Buttercups!

Beautiful to look at, but poisonous to dogs.

Most dogs will avoid them as they taste very bitter, but we do have one regular user who bizarrely developed a taste for them last year. His owner, his vet, and I had never seen such a thing before.

He wears a muzzle on his walks because he will literally seek them out anywhere, and no-one wants to risk another emergency vet trip.

There are Buttercups in the Meadows so please be aware and ensure your dogs aren’t chewing on them.

Huge thanks to Woof and Wood Dog Training and the army of Poo Fairies for doing the daily checks on the Meadows while we were away.

And to all our lovely customers who play their part in keeping the field clean and safe for everyone else.

Now I'm back the equipment is getting a hair cut, and the scurry bales will be replaced next week.

Woody's Fountain needs to finish its Spring checks but hopefully that will also be open very soon. Watch this space 👀
