From dusk to darkness overnight.
Head torch non-negotiable.

There is a quiet stillness in the Activity Meadows after dark. It really is quite beautiful.

UPDATE: Working again now. If there is a further outage we'll let you know.

Booking System Emergency Maintenance
We have had the following update from Acuity Scheduling who power our booking system:

Update - To protect your data, we've taken Acuity offline while we address PHP2SHELL, a critical security vulnerability rated 9.2 out of 10 for severity. It affects popular web software, including tools Acuity relies on, and by some estimates up to 70% of websites are exposed.

We're moving as fast as we can. Part of the fix comes from the makers of that software, so as their patches are released, we deploy them, test them and confirm they've actually closed the gap. We'll bring Acuity back once that's done.

We know how much you depend on us, and we're sorry for the disruption.

Once we have an update then we'll let you know too.

In the meantime, enjoy Woody's outrage at the rain 😂

There are Road Closed signs at the ends of Whitecross Road, but the Activity Meadows are fully accessible from either end of the road 😁

Whilst we do have a small band of actual Poo Fairies, it is everyone's responsibility to pick up after their dogs. Please keep to your side of the bargain and we'll keep ours.

Don't make Woody have to have words...

📨📨 Text Message Update 📨📨

Text messages are working again but only if you OPT IN at booking. We are unable to change the wording of the Opt In check box and it reads like you're agreeing to marketing. We will never use your phone number for anything other than reminders or urgent messages about your booking.

If you don't want your gate code by text message that's fine; it will always be in the reminder email too.

And for those of you who have forgotten what it looks like, Woody is enjoying lush green grass thanks to Woodlands Farm Dog Fields while we're on holiday. The Activity Meadows are in the capable hands of

🐾🐾 Text Message Reminders 🐾🐾
There is a system problem sending out the text message reminders with the gate code. The email reminders are working and have all the information you need including the gate code.
We'll let you know as soon as the text messages are back up and running but in the meantime, check your email instead 📨

🐾🐾 CRACKS 🐾🐾

Our Meadows are dry and cracked, and with no rain forecast it's only going to get worse.

We're solid clay soil so it's inevitable and there is nothing we can do about it. We used to fill the cracks but have learned over the last 12 years that it's pointless. It doesn't help long term and doesn't prevent them from developing further.

Please be aware of the possibilities of cracked and uneven ground, just as you would anywhere when walking your dogs.

😱🐾 FIXED! Booking Issue 🐾😱

Please bear with us; our booking system has a worldwide outage and we are waiting for them to be back on line.

We currently can't access at all so can't help to book / reschedule but if you have already emailed we will sort as soon as we can.

What do you think of the new climbing platform?

Obviously with the hot weather we've only had a few cooler morning/evening slots available but if you have managed to book one, what did your dogs make of their new obstacle?

Any photos for us?
