Sorry I should've posted this earlier but the shop will be closing at 3.45pm today instead of 4pm.

Also due to current circumstances Wednesday hours will be changing to 11am - 4pm for the foreseeable.

💧DOG WASH UNAVAILABLE-
WATER SUPPLY ISSUE 💧

A wee notice to let you know there is an issue with water supply but will hopefully be rectified asap.

Will update this post when the dog wash is back up and running 🤗.

To be honest the dogs may not want a bath in the cold weather forecast this week anyway 🤣.

Oh and someone has left behind a wash mitt 🤗.

Firstly thank you for all your continued good wishes and enquiries into how I am, you are amazing and so kind. As a result I felt it might be good to give you a wee update on things as there are FAQs in shop and via messages etc, and I'm currently not around to answer them.

* 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐦 𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐈 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭?
I'm doing good, have started the journey with a six month program of chemotherapy and managing the side effects as best as I can, although not been in the shop much since, trying to do as much as possible from home.

* 𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧?
Yes, thanks to the lovely Katie the shop is still open normal business hours (thank you so much Katie).

* 𝐈𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧?
No, absolutely not. The Pet Stop is for sale, but is not closing down. If a sale takes longer then anticipated, plans will be put in place to stay open until a sale is completed.

* 𝐇𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩?
Yes there has been interest which is positive, no sale as yet but it's early days.

* 𝐈𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥?
Find this one a bit odd but thought I'd put it out there, no it isn't. 🙈

* 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐤?
Mack Attack is doing great and at 4.5 months old the crocodile teefies are calming down a little, but oh do I wish I had half his energy 🤣.

😁 CAT & DOG ADVENT CALENDARS 😁

I know it's still October but people are spreading the cost of Christmas and began their shopping 🛍 .

Soooo, I thought I'd post my first Xmas goodies post and let you know I have cat and dog calendars out now. Still lots of toy bits to come out but will get there.

For Cats -
Meowee meaty calendar £4.99
Hatchwells yoghurt and catnip treats calendar £3.49

For dogs -
Good Boy real meat calendars (chicken) £5.99
Denzels calendars with a small bag of treats each day (one calendar treats a few dogs if needed) £15.00

I know there was an issue with Denzels calendars last year with disappointed customers, but this year they have all arrived 🎉🎉🎉

😁🎉 ROAD WORKS NEARLY FINISHED 🎉😁

Many of you will be happy to hear (as are we), that the Castle Road roadworks are almost 8wks ahead of schedule.

Road will be back open with full access as per normal on Monday 20th October (possibly earlier depending on progress) 🎉🎉🎉

🎉😍 ALFIE THE OCTOPUS WINNER 😍🎉

Cutie Alfie appeared with his mum today to collect his prize, big mumma octopus. His first reaction was to bite the eyes 🤣🤣.

Thank you so much to everyone who entered. The amount raised for Ellon Round Table was £300 🥰🎉.

🤗 LOCAL BUSINESS SHOUT OUT (again) 😁

I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but unfortunately this week the dog wash shelter was a hit and run victim....boooo . Thankfully it was caught on CCTV and discussions been had.

Am grateful to John of Fencing Solutions Tarves coming to the rescue and fixing it for me yesterday in case Storm Amy wheeked it up into the air like something out of The Wizard of Oz. Yaaaaay. 👍🤓Thanks John 🤓👍.

Also a big THANK YOU to Ellon Timber who helped this morning (Saturday) after Storm Amy tried to remove the shelter roof 🤣🙈. Hopefully that's all for now and no more repairs needed 🤞.
