Good afternoon

Notice to all liveries we have made the decision due to the gusts of winds we are currently experiencing at the yard due to only get worse after 3pm to close the centre for safety reasons at 3.30
If you wish to still come and see to your own horse/pony please do notify us when you arrive and leave but also please feel free just to stay home for today and we shall take care of all horses and ponies ourselves.
We shall as always do late night checks

I much preferred riding the more challenging ponies and horses the ones with a wee bit of spark I always felt I learnt so so much more as a rider and it taught me to stick in the saddle when they did have a buck or a wee spook.

At the end of the day we must all remember each and every single pony and horse just like us humans have good days and bad days, some days we have more energy than others they do to and we must respect and accept that and we are privileged that they allow us to ride them.

Back in my riding school days I remember the ‘strong’ ponies, the ‘bucking’ ponies, the ‘nappy’ ponies, the ‘stubborn’ ponies…

I don’t remember a “confidence giver” ever being a ‘thing’…

I remember I wanted to ride, and i wanted to LEARN to ride… and that involved ‘getting back on the horse’…

Don’t worry if you see horses and ponies with White muzzles a few customers have been concerned recently which is nice but rest assured it is sun cream to protect those with sensitive and pink muzzles from the sun as some can get bad sun burn easily even on days when it’s not really sunny. 🌞

Good morning.

We are still currently without internet at the centre the lightning at the weekend unfortunately has taken out both routers and BT can not get new ones to us until next week.

For the time being cash is the preferred method of payment as without access to the internet it’s difficult to get access to the online banking to be able to check off payments.

Hopefully BT get things up and running quickly.

Due to the lightening today it looks like the shop took a hit and we currently have no internet in the shop at the centre meaning the Card Machine is not working 🙈
