Another milestone was achieved in the early hours this morning, our second living foal of 2025 was born, you might wonder what was so special about this foal ? Well this the first 4th generation foal born with myself at Northwest stud, one of my foundation mares was Glenkee Aurora a beautiful strong black mare that has been with us from the early stages of Shetland pony breeding, Aurora had a black filly by Glenkee Angus that was retained and in turn her filly Northwest Ocean Dream was also retained for a future brood mare, Ocean had a beautiful palomino filly that we will Keep for a future brood mare.

Today marked the official opening of the Labour ward here at Northwest and Glenkee studs, we have a gorgeous palomino c**t with a big white star born at approximately 12:15pm, mother and baby doing well, unfortunately we did have a loss a couple of weeks ago but that mare is doing well also. Keep an eye for more foals due in the next day or so.

This is a rare opportunity for a stud that wants to breed dilute stock, Tijuca is 31.5ins, as a 3 year old he ran with 6 mares and he got 5 mares in foal, impressively he gave us 4 fillys and a Creamello c**t, we believed that he has more foals due this year again. Tijuca is only looking for a new home as we have too many boys and we have our own young c**ts/Stallions that we want to use. Tijuca is tested clear for Skeletal Atavism.
Note that he is in Northern Ireland. Transport can be arranged.
