After leaving 30 years of corporate life, I decided to start my own cat-sitting business in May 2023. I wanted to dedicate my time to the love of cats and their welfare. I have four beautiful cats of my own, all of whom came from a local cat rescue where I volunteer part-time. I live in Egham and can cover all surrounding areas within a 4-mile radius, including Egham, Staines, and Virginia Water.

I am DBS checked, and have liability insurance, ensuring that I can offer my clients the peace of mind that everything will be thoroughly taken care of.

Happy Easter everyone!

If the Easter bunny has gifted you with chocolate this weekend, here’s a reminder to take care around your pets.

Chocolate contains theobromine, which is perfectly safe for humans, but toxic for cats, dogs, ferrets and rabbits.

The seriousness of chocolate poisoning depends on how much chocolate your cat has eaten, how much they weigh, and the cocoa content of the chocolate – darker chocolate is likely to be more toxic.

If your cat has eaten chocolate, keep the packaging and call your vet immediately.

The moral of this … eat up all your chocolate!!

All I wanted for Christmas was another cat to add to my family of 4…Wish granted! Meet Tuxedo Cat, built on a rainy New Years Day. The cat family were more impressed with the box though to be honest!

Please be aware of our animal friends when it comes to fireworks this New Years Eve.

So many animals - domestic, farmed and wild - find them frightening with often tragic consequences.

Some top tips to help your cat stay calm during fireworks season

- Keep your cat indoors after dark. It’ll reduce the risk of them being spooked!

- Play music. Cats and loud noises don’t necessarily mix. Keeping a radio or TV on can help if your cat gets scared from the sudden sounds of fireworks

- Check on them in their safe space and don’t over fuss them if they aren’t keen
