☀️ When the temperature rises, our feline friends need a little extra TLC to stay cool and comfy. Here’s some things you can do to help them:

• Fresh water in multiple spots 💧
• Close curtains and use fans 🪟
• Ice cubes in bowls or for play 🧊
• Cooling mats or damp towels 🛏️
• Brush often, avoid midday play 🪮

Why not try making these frozen 🐟 Tuna Ice Cubes?

You’ll need:
• 1 can of tuna in water (no salt)
• ½ cup cold water

How to make:
1. Blend tuna and water.
2. Pour into ice cube tray.
3. Freeze and serve - just not in your glass, pop it in their bowl!

Happy Easter everyone!

If the Easter bunny has gifted you with chocolate this weekend, here’s a reminder to take care around your pets.

Chocolate contains theobromine, which is perfectly safe for humans, but toxic for cats, dogs, ferrets and rabbits.

The seriousness of chocolate poisoning depends on how much chocolate your cat has eaten, how much they weigh, and the cocoa content of the chocolate – darker chocolate is likely to be more toxic.

If your cat has eaten chocolate, keep the packaging and call your vet immediately.

The moral of this … eat up all your chocolate!!

Happy Mother’s Day Cat Mums.
