We are an East of Edinburgh-based, professional dog walking service. Why use At Your Bark & Call? Our unique selling point is that Suzanne limits her group dog walks to five dogs to ensure great fun and safe walking. She guarantees an hour of meaningf

ul exercise for your dog; aiming to walk 4 km in the hour. Dogs are transported to a variety of excellent Edinburgh & East Lothian parks, beaches and woodlands via our fully-fitted out, ventilated van. Each dog has it's own safe space in the van, Suzanne is Canine First Aid trained and at the end of every day customers receive a route map and photos of the day's walk; something that's much-appreciated by her loyal customers. She can also do 'wee' walks for elderly or unfit dogs. Contact Suzanne at your convenience for further information. That’s a wrap folks. Eight years of perfect pooches on wonderful walks! I’m off to Highland pastures new soon and just want to thank absolutely everyone who has used At Your Bark & Call services since 2017. I really appreciate every customer, dog, cat, guinea pig, rabbit & fish I’ve met along the way.

Thursday was our penultimate day! 🤗

End of an era incoming…Just over one week to go!!

My lovely clients were told many weeks ago that Babs and I are moving up to the Cairngorms National Park, for a new Highland, village life. Everyone was delighted for us, and a few even a little jealous. However, there is some sadness among us humans as we all know our AYB&C walkies will be sorely missed. My gang of fourteen happy doggies is one tight-knit, long-standing, canine community.

So, what next? My last group dog walk will be 20th June and we move away a week later! It’s busy, busy! It’s going to be emotional for me, for sure! I will certainly miss my wonderful canine friends. Meantime we’ll be having a wee pub night and a ‘mass’ dog walk to mark the ‘end’ of AYB&C after eight excellent years. I’m really looking forward to both get togethers.

I recommended some fab alternative walkers to my customers so I know their needs will be met by whoever they choose. Jess, of Honeybee Adventures, who took this photo today is taking on a few of the Willowbrae pooches who will continue to enjoy each other’s company in her safe hands. Thanks Jess! I’ll share pics of our pub night and big, massive group walk soon.

In the Cairngorms I’ll be looking for full time employment, will look to set up botanical art classes & possibly art retreats up there but the priority will be to take some quality settling-in time for us & to get to know our new community. It’s been a VERY busy four months making this dream move happen but hopefully worth every effort.

To all the wonderful At Your Bark & Call customers who donated much needed items to Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home today!

The lovely team there were really appreciative of all the ideal, useful things donated to help keep dogs & cats in their care cozy, fed and stimulated with all the great toys too!

The EDCH website has a really helpful list of items they accept as donations - it’s spring clean time so now is a great time to see if you’ve got anything they need.

As the year draws to a close we reflect on 2024.

Here are some favourite photos of beautiful Rudy, one of the most fun, reliable, gregarious and contented dogs I’ve had the privilege of walking.
Really sadly, in Autumn he passed away and we’ve missed him a great deal in the latter part of this year. The boy dog dynamics have shifted as his mates Jasper and Attie jostle a little to fill his wise old boss man boots.

We love you always and miss you Mr R, Rudy, Ru-ru, Roods, big guy. Thank you for all the amazing miles of fun over many years, and right to the end. What a credit you were to your family who I know will be missing you so very much. Special boy. ❤️
