Our Story

Welcome to Bowzos

Bowzos is an Edinburgh company founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Dawn McKenna who has a natural and amazing creative talent. Then a new member of the family came along in 2013, Honey the (very naughty but precious) Beagle. After shopping unsuccessfully numerous times for a high quality collar with a design that was a wee bit slicker than your average, Dawn decided to make Honey one from scratch and that is where it all began! We are now a wee family run business and pay close attention to detail making most of our products from Harris Tweed fabric. Proud to have achieved all we have in such a short time selling our products to Harris Tweed, Historic Scotland in all of their castle gift shops, Poppy Scotland, local shops including Harry’s treats, Just dogs, House of Hound, Cranachan & Crowdie, The Scottish Design Exchange, and many local and far groomers and boutiques all over Great Britain- too many to mention! And we are now going to Switzerland and Belgium for retail. What next for Bowzos ? Watch this space...
