Extrordinair is the first and only Animal Receiving Centre / Border Inspection Post for small animal

Extrordinair has been transporting animals from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow Airport across the globe for many years! In May 2012 we were approved by DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) to operate the first Animal Reception Centre / Border Inspection Post for small animals in Scotland. Your pets can now travel directly back into Edinburgh Airport with the following approved airlines -
- Air Canada
- KLM
- Lufthansa
- Thomson
- United
- Qatar Airways

Did someone say Fri-yay? 🤩 This cutie arrived in sunny Edinburgh today along with her four siblings! She's not quite figured out that we drive on the opposite side of the road yet... but I'm sure she'll be fine switching to the other seat as long as she gets to pop her head out of the window for some much needed fresh air during the Scottish heatwave! ☀😎

Meribel & Eddie arrived today all the way from Singapore with Lufthansa! They are staying in our boarding facility for the night before we deliver them to their pawrents, and these two are just loving the Scottish sunshine we have at the moment! Meet the most fluffiest boy, Kenobi a Siberian Cat, he arrived early this morning from Canada, he loved attention, cuddles and giving paw 🐾

Fun Fact: Siberian Cats come in dozens of colours, there are roughly 124 colour variations 🌈

These two cuties recently embarked on a very exciting journey from Scotland to China 🇨🇳! Did you know that pets moving to China from the UK don't need the 30 day pre-export isolation or special vet treatments before they travel? A move like this takes a lot of time and careful planning but Karma & Guacamole's adorable faces make it all worth it, and we're so glad they've been successfully reunited with their pawrents after arriving in Shanghai! 🐾

We all need our comforts, especially after a long flight, Ole, decided a pillow would be his travel companion for his flight from Oman to Edinburgh. He did not want to leave his pillow behind and carried it everywhere!

Neville & Ronald recently travelled all the way from Northern Ireland to Zimbabwe! They flew out of Edinburgh with Qatar Airways to Harare. Such handsome but goofy dogs, we absolutely loved having the two of them with us and we hope they will enjoy life in Zimbabwe! 🐶🥰

Hello world, meet Puff! 🐲 This adorable bearded dragon travelled all the way from the US to Edinburgh along with his three cat-shaped siblings ✈ Such a funny wee guy, he was exploring his new surroundings and must have wondered why the humans sounded so different over here. Gorgeous Titan arrived last week from Doha 🇶🇦, he loved talking and cuddles. He was a street cat, and saw his favourite human and decided to claim them as theirs! As you can see his human is now his owner and now enjoying Scottish life 🥰
