Happy 1st birthday to us 🎈

Around one year ago, Beth and I decided to go for it and rent our own space for grooming. After searching for the right shop for a while, not finding the right one or getting rejections, we found our studio in Canonmills. And we can truly say we love it. Not really knowing anything about running a small business, we finally think we’ve figured it out one year in. 😅

Some key lessons and takeaways:

* Beth likes pink more than she would like to admit
* I do not know how we lived without air con before, but it’s truly the best thing that happened to us
* The most used sentence daily in the salon is “Hi, push the door” to the intercom
* We hate British Gas
* But we love our clients

On that note — we couldn’t do this without you 🐶. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts for following us to DogDaze, and thank you to all the new doggies who joined us too. I think we say this to each other all the time, but your dogs are our besties and they make us laugh all the time.

So, cheers to another year! 🥂

Annual leave notice

Hi all. Just wanted to let you know that we will be taking some time off in the next couple of days.
Beth is currently away and due to be back on the 8th of July.
Monika will be away from the 8th July and be back on the 17th July.

We will be able to answer each other’s messages to some extend, but moving and booking appointments will most likely need to wait until we are back.

Thank you so much to everypup who came along to our dogs and jazz pop up yesterday at the Leith Walk Police Box.
We had such a lovely day filled with lots of treats and cuddles.

Also thank you to Tenement Jazz Band for coming along and providing some great music for the happy strollers (and dancers) of leith.
Highly recommend the police box for your pop up events. A lovely team of professional, friendly folks who can’t do enough to help.
