I’m so happy and proud of my husband on winning runner up for scotlands RNC student nurse of the year. What a fantastic event for some of the hardest working individuals that we were so proud to be a part of. And a beautiful venue choice at the Edinburgh Museum.

John works so hard every day in dementia care and I can’t wait to see what he can do once he qualifies.

Getting this certificate was not an easy journey. I’m a very proud member of PACT and ABTC with my membership renewed this year until March 2026.

To get this certificate I had to:

🐾Attend 25 lectures and tutorials

🐾Submit 18 videos of me training dogs

🐾Write four essays on dog training

🐾Pass a theory exam

🐾Pass 2 practical exams of 1-2-1 training and group training

🐾Shadow other dog trainers in my free time

🐾Log 70 dog training hours

🐾Travel to Southampton for two in person fieldwork days

🐾 Read many recommended books for independent learning

🐾Pay for the course and membership fees

🐾 Dedicate myself to continuous learning logging CPD hours every year

🐾 Commit myself to support the ethics, ethos and values of PACT

🎉But now I am now a proud member of the Professional Association of Dog Trainers

🎉And am an ABTC registered Animal Training Instructor

I couldn’t be prouder and absolutely love this job.
