02/07/21 Fluke!

Had a great end to my week with Fluke yesterday. He was so hyper hahaha, I think all the dogs, and people, are enjoying the good weather hehe. Fluke spent some time showing off his new skills yesterday. His cool leg weave and awesome figure of 8 lol. We’ve been working on shy dog and, are going to do roll over as well. Once we have some videos for those I’ll get them up, as we just started them, and are still working on the very very beginning stages.

Drake and I heading back to basics so we can build a good foundation for moving forward with brain games and training! I know we can do it!

02/07/11 Drake

So I was out with Drake, and we are always going over the same problems. So we went back to basics! All I want to teach Drake right now, is to Settle, lie down, and roll over. I think these fairly simple things will help. As he is deaf Drake is all about where your hands are. So if I can get him to settle, and not be too focused on the hands, then I should be able to finally move forward with him 🤞🤞. Friday was definitely a good start! 😁

Started yesterday with the gorgeous Hedvig! We headed out to work on her roll over again. She’s picking it up as fast as lightning strikes, I’m not joking, she is so quick! I know I’ve praised her recall too, but yesterday mid chase, squirrel turned and ran right at her by mistake, as it passes her head, call out, and she comes running back 😍. I was blown away!

Well Archie’s video got cut a little short. I accidentally stood on the lead and forgot to start recording again. We have been doing really great though, him and I are getting to know each other better and better. Today we started to introduce some play while at his door with his Mum. To help take away the feelings he seems to have about his porch area. He’s nice and chilled on the walks, now we just need to work on making them more fun, and getting him nice and chilled at his front door too. 🥰

Only got a picture of the gorgeous Drake today! He is doing fantastic. He had lots of fun recently with his mum and dad at a photographer, he looks so good in black and white. We had a great walk in the sun today, so nice and hot. Played a little find and ran around chasing his tail like a mad dog haha.

Awwww Hedvig is adorable and amazing as well. This is from this weeks walks actually. Working on her roll over and some other basic commands. The plan is to run a wee made up agility course around an area lol. Rolling under a bench and stuff. She’s so quick and so clever, just hope I’m up to it haha.

Drake trying out a sort of early morning bed head look for K9 for men haha 😆. I’d definitely buy more after shave if they had dogs for models lol. Although I do hope it wouldn’t smell like them on a wet day. Would be the opposite of that lynx effect lol
