Easter is upon us! It's a bit wet and gloomy outside but we've got plenty of bits in stock to brighten up your weekend!

We're open as normal today (until 5:30pm), CLOSED tomorrow and open 9:30am - 4:30pm on Easter Monday!

Very interesting study on wild fish! We're not surprised though; our fish definitely have preferences for us based on which of us feeds them the most, even if we turn up out of uniform! 😂😂

Our Porcupine Puffer very quickly realised that I wasn't going to give him a second breakfast, and decided he didn't want anything to do with being on camera without a bribe 😂🙄

All Porcupine Puffers tend to have an extremely entertaining personality, and definitely add character to large, fish only aquariums!

We don't get one of these in very often, but when we do they're always absolutely brilliant! This little Pearl Arowana (Scleropages jardinii) is only a baby at the moment, but there's still some fantastic colour coming through in his scales!

Our last delivery of the year has resulted in a very well stocked fish house! We have so many lovely freshwater fish in at the moment, it was very hard to pick out highlights, but we managed!

We've had a few marine gems in this week, just in time for Christmas! Our newbies include a stunning Lilac Firefish and Scarlet Hawkfish from Tropical Marine Centre, and the always beautiful Red Wine Scooter Blenny, Yasha Shrimp Goby and Yellow Banded Possum Wrasse (who posed beautifully for the picture! 😂)

Our marine systems are nice and full, and our new arrivals have settled in well, ready for their new homes! 🥰

We've been super busy but very productive these last couple of weeks! 😇

Installed a shiny new UV unit on our Marine Fish system from Tropical Marine Centre ✅
(Resisted the urge to replace all the pipework to match ✅)
Wait (im)patiently for the new UVs to bed in ✅
Had a beautiful delivery of marine fish arrive (including new seahorses!) ✅
Ordered in some brand new aquariums from Aquadistri ✅
Prepared our Newt Pond for winter ✅
Renewed our Pet Shop License keeping our 5 Star Rating ✅

Plus another few bits to get the shop ready for next month! We've resisted talking about "Christmas" so far! 😅

Hopefully they'll be some more updates to come soon! 🐟
