I’m going to be opening a Saturday or Sunday 12 week dog grooming course. 100 hours of dog grooming training to be completed over 12 weeks. This course will give basics on Everything to open your own business. You do not need endless funds to start a career in dog grooming and I can help make this happen.
From grooming in client homes with very little start up cost to opening a shop on a high street.
Everything will be covered from in salon practical/ theory and a little homework.
Course will be £1700 with just a £500 deposit upfront. Cost can be spread over 12 months at just £100 a month. Or there’s a 10% discount for people paying fully upfront.

Hello, and welcome! My name is Jazmin, and I’m the owner of Shampoodle, a small, independent dog grooming salon based in the UK.

With over 15 years of grooming experience, I began my career at 17, training in Australia before launching my own successful mobile grooming business. After relocating to the UK, I continued my passion by opening a salon-based business where I provide professional grooming services — and, more recently, hands-on training for aspiring groomers.

Each year, I open up a limited number of spaces for students to train with me directly. I specialise in private or small group training, with a maximum of three students at a time. This ensures every student receives personalised, high-quality guidance — something that’s often lacking in larger colleges or group-based courses.

Whether you’re looking to start a new career, open your own salon, or simply build confidence around dogs, these courses are designed to give you real, practical skills in a supportive environment.

• 15-Day Course
• 20-Day Course

All courses are fully insured, and upon completion, students receive a Shampoodle Diploma Certificate.

While we do not currently offer formal qualifications, most of our graduates have gone on to launch successful grooming businesses without needing them. Should you wish to pursue a qualification later, many options are available via fast-track routes once you’ve gained hands-on experience.

Our training is predominantly practical, with some theory sessions and light homework. Students groom between 1–3 dogs per day, giving you extensive, real-world experience — unlike other programs where students often share dogs or spend more time observing than doing.

Training with Shampoodle doesn’t end when the course finishes. I stay in touch with many of my students and offer continued support via phone or FaceTime, helping you navigate any questions or challenges as you begin your grooming journey.
