Hello everyone,
Apologies for the recent radio silence.

I am now halfway through my Training. I now only have 6 modules left to complete and be assessed on. I will, of course, keep you updated when possible.

My 2nd assessment is signed off, again with 90%. Though that was down to a wrong answer, not a question misread.

It was a difficult unit (all to do with Law, Legislations, Insurance, VAT), so I'm glad I got it signed off.

I haven't forgotten about the Schnauzer pictures, I will upload them as soon as I can. I was very pleased with the way it went; as were the owners.

Passed my first assessment today with a score of 90%. I would have got 100% but stupidly misread one of the questions.

Still, very pleased with myself and feeling very positive.

Off to see Maggie & Bertie (the miniature schnauzers) today, for their first groom with me.

Good afternoon all.

I am sorry for being so quiet for so long.

The training has had to pause for now, but I am still very much wanting to go ahead with Doggy Divas.

I've now taken on 2 miniature schnauzers, their first groom is (hopefully) going to be this Friday. There will, of course, be pictures.

I also wanted to let you know that, back in October last year, I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Sox. She had a stroke and lost mobility in her back legs. She gave me 14 wonderful years, so I had to do what was right for her at the end, even though it broke my heart.

I have also now set up an Amazon wishlist for Doggy Divas which has things on it that I would like to accumulate in readiness for when I do qualify and launch officially. The majority of the things on the list will also be helpful while I am training and practicing on my models (friends & family's dogs). Have clipped Minx today; forgot to get before photos, will try and get some after shots soon.
She hasn't had her shower yet though because my back is really bad today and I can hardly move, let alone crouch over a bath - Husband may have to bathe her when he gets home.
She really is a beautiful girl :D

Sammy and Suki will have to wait til Sunday or next week on account of us being out tomorrow. I don't mind though, will give my back a bit of time to get over itself lol.

Not totally dry and hasn't had the last brush after being showered, but this is Sox's after photos.

I have taken her A LOT shorter than I did last time because she just gets SO hot in the summer and also, she gets very matted easily. I had to take her head short because...well I don't even know, I can only assume she's been watching too much Gymnastics and has been practicing headstands because the hair was beyond salvageable (and it would have hurt her for me to try to comb it through).

I think she can pull it off, after all, she is a Chinese Crested and it's surprising just how fast her hair grows back!

My little boy thinks it's awesome because he says she looks like Jolteon (it's a Pokemon for this that might not know)

Well that's the formerly hairiest dog all clipped and bathed. After photo will follow when she's dried off.
I'm not blow drying her today, it's too hot.
She certainly doesn't look like this anymore.
