I've been putting this off because it's something I have tried so hard not to do 😔

I have had to make the decision to close the shop at Firle Road. I honestly don't think anyone will ever understand how much this really hurts my heart. I have fought so hard to hold onto the shop, through pregnancy, with a newborn, and through cancer treatment.

However with still not being able to work properly, I just cannot continue financially to keep the shop going.

Opening this shop was my dream, and that dream was made even better by the absolute amazing clients that I am so lucky to have come to me with their equally amazing doggies, who I honestly love as much as my own. Thank you to each and everyone of you that chose me to look after your dogs.

My hope is that I can open something, so that I can continue to do what I love at home. As soon as I find out if this is possible and have any details about that I will of course let you know all the exciting details.

As I always say my job isn't a job to me, it is a part of me, something that I love so much.

I really did try so hard to try and keep the shop going, but life had other plans.

Hey everyone,

I'm so sorry for the long overdue update.
My surgery went very very well, but recovery from surgery has been hard. Unfortunately it has left me with some lasting issues with my arm currently, which I am having weekly physio for. This means I have not been able to return to work at the time I expected, in hindsight maybe that was quite ambitious. I am hoping with time and the physio that my arm will continue to get stronger and I will be able to get back to doing what I love.

I have some very good personal news regarding the pathology from my surgery, which showed I had a complete response to chemo, which is just everything.

At the moment I am taking each day as it comes, buiding myself back up and spending lots of quality time with my family. As soon as I have an update regarding a return date I will be sure to let you all know.

In the meantime Sarah is still available if anyone would like to make a booking, her contact details are on the previous post 🐾

So some updates for you all. Sorry in advance for the length of this post!

I now have my operation date. So that means I need to organise everything around that. It also means one more step to getting back to normal will be ticked off 🙌

Also little Ava is growing and no longer able to join me at work, to put it simply she wants to get around and be in everything as all little ones do as they grow, so she is starting nursery. So I will have set days going forward, which will be Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.

My operation is quite soon, on the 27th November. Afterwards I have to take off 8 weeks to recover from this, as you can imagine dog grooming is very physical and I am not allowed to lift anything also the risk of infection as I am healing is high. So this is something I have no control over. Sadly this means I cannot do any Christmas grooms this year. That being said we still have the lovely Sarah from Pampered Pups, so feel free to check with me or Sarah to see if she can fit you in at this time and during my time off.

So I have a good few weeks now to fit in as many of your beautiful doggies as I can, so if you would like a groom before the 27th November please pop me a message and I will get you booked in 🐾

Again as always thank you all for all your support and patience. I CANNOT WAIT to get back to normal and get back to building my business and seeing your beautiful doggies all the time 🥰

I wanted to share this with you all as you have all been AMAZING since I started treatment.
So thank you, thank, thank you!

Today was my last chemotherapy session!
I can't tell you how relieved I am.

Of course there is still a lot more hurdles to come, but this part I can tick off ❤️

Summer holidays come to an end tomorrow giving me more time.
I had treatment on Friday, so this week is focused on getting through the side effects of that. Then I will be on the up again🤞
