🐾 Celebrating UK Small Business Week 🐾

Two photos show the empty space where it all began—a vision, a lot of hard work, and a determination to build something different. The other shows what that vision has grown into today.

When I started, not everyone believed this business model would work. I was told that focusing on reactive, nervous, and complex dogs wasn't the path to success. Some suggested I should stick to straightforward haircuts and grooming services instead.

But I believed there was a need for a space where dogs who struggle in traditional grooming environments could be understood, supported, and cared for with patience and compassion. More importantly, so many of you believed in that vision too.

Thank you to everyone who believed in my vision, my ethics, and the way I care for your dogs. Your support has helped turn an idea into a thriving business, and I'm so grateful for every one of you. ❤️

Dora and Ivy enjoyed the ultimate pampering session today! 🐾🛁

These gorgeous Tibetan Terriers came in for a full spa treatment, complete with a luxurious bath, deep coat care, blow-dry, tidy-up, and a complete groom. Beautifully groomed, fresh, and fabulous! ✂️✨

☀️🐶 I hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend! With temperatures set to reach up to 32°C on Monday, please remember to keep your dogs safe in the heat.

🐾 Hot weather safety tips:
• Walk early morning or later in the evening only
• Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
• Make sure they always have access to fresh water and shade
• Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes
• Cooling mats, paddling pools, frozen treats and damp towels can help keep them comfortable

Please remember: a dog will not die from missing a walk, but they can die from heatstroke. Heatstroke can happen frighteningly fast and can become fatal in under an hour. If you suspect heatroke, cool down your dog gradually and contact their vet immediately.

Stay safe, stay cool, and enjoy the sunshine responsibly ☀️💛🐕

Fresh from his second puppy groom and absolutely smashing it 💛🐾

Little Rolo the Shih Tzu was such a star today — calm, relaxed, and totally unbothered under the dryer like a seasoned pro already! ✨

The puppy stage is so important when it comes to grooming. Choosing the right groomer helps young pups build confidence and positive associations with all the sights, sounds, handling, bathing, brushing, and drying that come with regular grooming appointments.

Gentle introductions and proper desensitisation at an early age can make a huge difference, helping puppies grow into calm, happy dogs who aren’t fearful or stressed during grooming visits later in life 🫶
Rolo is proof that patience, kindness, and a calm environment really do matter 🐶✂️

⚠️ HEATWAVE WARNING ⚠️

With temperatures rising from next week, the safety and wellbeing of your dogs is my top priority 🐶☀️

My salon will have air conditioning running to help keep dogs cool and comfortable during their appointments. However, if I am unable to keep the salon at a safe temperature, appointments may need to be cancelled or rearranged at short notice — including enforced same day cancellations if necessary.

I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If I do need to enforce same day or last minute cancellations, I will do my absolute best to ensure all dogs remain on their regular grooming schedules and that no dogs become overdue for appointments.

I politely ask everyone to:

🐾 Avoid walking dogs before their appointment
🐾 Ensure dogs travel in an air-conditioned vehicle where possible
🐾 Bring plenty of water for longer journeys

Heat can become dangerous very quickly for dogs, especially during grooming appointments, so please help me keep them safe and comfortable.
