Join us on Saturday 25th July 2026 for a full day and night of music, community, compassion and celebration — all in support of rescued farmed animals and the future of the sanctuary. ❤️🐷🐑

This year we’re taking things to a beautiful new setting at the idyllic Bush Blackbird & Thrush Gardens, East Peckham, Kent, complete with a large marquee, outdoor vibes, amazing people and a proper underground community atmosphere.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our open day on Sunday! This was the first open day we've had in almost four years and we are so happy with how it went!

We will definitely be putting on more events soon, and of course when we announce them please share far and wide as you always do.

Your support for events like these help us keep the sanctuary running, and we are so grateful to all of you. Open days give us a chance to show off how hard we work to give our animals the best lives possible, and a chance to educate the public on animals and veganism.

If anyone got nice photos of the animals, or with the animals, please post them in the comments below 😄

URGENT - CAR NEEDED

Our site car has broken down and will be very expensive to fix. We are asking if anyone has a car they want to get rid of and could be so kind that they would give it to us. The car is essential to the running of the sanctuary so this is causing us problems already.

We know how generous our supporters have already been to us over the years and we would really appreciate some help.

We are delighted to announce that we are having our first open day in over four years on Sunday 31 May!

The day will begin at 1pm and end at 5pm, with tours, opportunities to stroke and feed the animals, refreshments and cakes, a gift shop, and more!

Tickets are £5 each, but children under 5 go free.
