⚠️*Bug warning!*⚠️

Sweet girl Martha loves to run through long grass, and her thick curly coat makes it easy for ticks to go unseen.
Luckily when she was soaked in the bath I spotted this guy right on her wee eyebrow, and had this tick removal tool handy to safely remove it.

Stay safe out there, especially in the warmer months and if your dogs like to play in long grass or dense vegetation. Check them regularly, make sure to look right to the skin and pay particular attention to the face and head, under their collar, under the tail and between toes.
If you do find a tick make sure to use the proper tool to remove it- slide it under the tick and twist to release its grip, don’t pull or squeeze and make sure the entire thing is released, if it breaks the head can stay attached and increase the risk of disease passing onto the dog.

Martha has since had the all clear from her vet and is back up to mischief! ❤️
